No lie here...

Went to drink at a spot in nyanya...seated with a friend when two young soldiers wearing combat camour trouser from nowhere came in and asked us to leave our table so they could sit there...I ignored him and called d manager/attendant for Xtra bottles...it pissed them off one immediately removed his belt and flogged my friend first, then use d hook of d army belt to hit my head.

I lost it and gave him a blow straight to his face then d whole place scattered with fight as my friend immediately attacked d 2nd one who was trying to take out a jack knife...na so we start fight o they started making calls calling their colleague refusing us to leave.

NB- My dad is a retired general so i wasn't afraid if they took us to d barracks. Na so when we reached Abacha barracks asokoro I saw a lieutenant colonel I knew and approached him to identify myself...na so those bootrags sleep for guardroom that night.

The end

Since I don see "No lie oo, " na hin I don know say na lie go full dizwan tori... 9ja con born warri pikin, we no dey carry last.

The soldiers I encountered in Okigwe, Imo state were very brutal, could not communicate effectively in English language, two of them spoke language of northern Nigeria, perhaps Hausa or Fulani, the other two spoke in pigeon English.
Their commander staying in a nearby kiosk was obviously a northern Nigerian.
Many vehicles were stopped from continuing their journeys. It’s not about looking for criminals. It’s just about inflicting pain on the public.

Nigeria insecurity forces (police and the military) usually go all out to recruit braindead idiots into their fold. There are still professional soldiers though. Maybe 2% of Nigerian soldiers. The remaining 98% are bumbling, tap dancing toads who ordinarily shouldn't be allowed to wear a uniform.

This particular day our vehicle broke down just after a military checkpoint, everyone was scared and even more scared to go and ask those soldiers we just left for help. I no fit allow fear limit me or gimme high Bp for this bush wey we dey now n if anything go kee me tonight mai he be Nigerian soldier I said to my self. So I summoned the courage to go ask those soldiers for help, approached them politely and told them our plight ion know sha if the good spirit of God came on them but were moved to help us one soldier tried all his best to help us repair the broken down bus but to no avail so he decided we come over to their checking point quarters to chill for the Night, we were all amazed n happy, gave us two mat like that anyone wey wan sleep. others did sleep but I didn't but go join them at duty to keep them company, talked bout many things and was shocked how opened they were to me and that day I knew In every strong man there's that weak n gentle spot in him.

Morning was dawn on us and twas tho I shouldn't leave those Men cuz I was just moved to being part of them, but I just prayed for them, tried to give them money but they rejected n wished us a safe trip by then the bus was done n we moved. My regret was I forgot to collect any of them number like it totally flew my mind but I wish they are in good health n happy anywhere they are atm

That's why I'll never speak ill of any soldier or condemn them. NEVER

I went to spend some time with my aunt and her husband in Ojo barracks and that period there was “Higher life conference “holding at Christ Embassy Ago palace way. The program ended and normal Lagos traffic , we got to the barracks bustop. As soon as we dropped from the church bus, we started moving towards the gate which is quite a distance from the bustop, we heard a voice shout “who goes there” omo I freezed.
My aunty was like move jare, we kept on walking, we heard the voice again “ stop there” ...my Aunty was like “I am so so so wife” (she called her husband’s rank”. We kept on walking and the person started flashing light at us , he said we should stop or he will shoot.
I wanted to pee on my body but my aunty held my hand and we were close to the tree just around the gate that was when they flashed the light at my Aunty’s face and saluted her. They started apologizing and asking why she was that late to come back home. .....there was no bike available to take us into the barracks cos the time was almost 12am , they had to call a bike person to come and pick us.
Soldiers are reasonable just avoid getting them upset

Around 2017, I was making jest of a female soldier not knowing she heard all what I said. Madam caught me and I was still arguing.
Madam said she's gonna call her younger sister to deal with me. Thought she was joking not until she made the call. People around me were telling me to apologize I no hear.
Took me to cantonment drew box for us.
The girl beat me but sha I used some wrestling experience win her.

I've never had any.... never been scared of the men on uniform, probably because I was fathered by one and lived in the barracks for the most part of my life(see finish), But the day I find my self in the face of oppression or intimidation from a mad man on uniform then that would probably lead to the death of me cos for my right I can give my life. I don't condone injustice of any kind! you shouldn't as well.

My little observation about Nigeria is; the poor and average Nigerians suffer most of the ills of the Nigerian society.

I joined the endsars protest from afar though, not because I have been a victim but because I have heard horrific stories of their victims. Same applies to military guys.

My little advice to Nigerians, especially the poor and the average; if you know you are not rich as in you have some free millions to waste at any point in time the need arises, and you don't have a military or top Police backup, please don't argue or quarrel with any uniformed person in Nigeria because you will either get killed, brutalized, injured and jailed even if you are innocent.

Whenever I am in Lagos, where I reside, the Police Officers there will even free any car they had stopped on a stop and search activity on sighting my car approach, not because I am a uniformed person per se but because they know that some none uniformed persons have power and influence more than their highest ranking bosses at the barracks or station.

And if I happen to land my village, hehe, na shooting in the air oh even without asking them lol.

Whoever said Nigeria is not sweet for some people no know how far, but last last, it is bad, I don't fancy it cos this is not the ideal country we desire for our kids, and that's why we have resolved to change the status quo at all cost. Nigeria have murdered many innocent people. Things cannot continue the way it is. It must change or Nigeria must end! This is why we are joining politics angry

I was alone in the backseat of the cab,I was just busy with my phones not paying attention to what the Driver was doing...Not knowing to by cut the Hold up before the Rumuokoro roundabout the driver took one-way...And was on High Speed,Mind you I was still concentrating on my phone when the taxi stopped and I heard the driver telling some people"I carry Officer ohh,Na Officer dey Back"at that point I looked up and saw two soldiers looking at me closely from the window...I really, Didn't know what else to do but to Bone and look at them in the eyes...They stared and told the Driver to go....That was when I looked at myself saw I was still wearing the camou shorts and Cap I normally wear at home...I immediately,Slap the driver for head, the man shout"Oga,Wetin?!" Well... One time I was escorting my trailer transporting my Timber from Cross river. I had my government papers.

Soldiers at a check point demanded for #5000 bribe. I brought out #2000 and told them that's what I had. The kind of beating I received.

Most security personnel in southern Nigeria are official armed robbers.

My friend:In a faint voice (E know no say your papa na soldier).
We all laughed next thing I heard make who na come here, we obeyed
Soldier:Y who na they laugh?
Me: Nothing (I don already they boil with anger)
Soldier: Make who na sit down for ground all my guys don reach ground already, Me still standing
Soldier:You no hear wetin I talk
before I could say anything e slapped me, I pushed him, next e wanted to boot me down I was still standing the thing pain am.
E released my friends I was still there people wer begging me Boy sit-down na I refuse after much pleading from people I sat down.
When the fracas was going on I didn't know some people saw me and they went to call my dad but e was in a meeting and e no fit leave the meeting so e sent some soldiers to check What was happening but they didn't see me. The soldier guy had freed me already like 5mins later my school full with soldiers oo.

The soldier:Na you be so so (my name) No vex abeg na work
Me: No wahala.
