xelly: How many people were shot? How many were wounded? How many were dead.. The dead part is the bone of contention... |
Re: Nigeria Army Killed Him by helinues: 5:44pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
xelly: I never disputed the presence of the military at the Lekki toll gate on Oct 20, Yes shot was fired but not directly at protesters... Let's be logical about this, at least if 3 army trucks was seen at the scene, that's on average of 15 officers x3 = 45, how many bullets do you think each officer would have? If 5 military officers decided to shoot directly at the protesters, how many people do you think would be dead? |
Re: Nigeria Army Killed Him by xelly: 5:46pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
helinues: If only the dead speak and we have honest government, then they can be numbered. But since the government is hell bent on shielding the truth, you cannot have the accurate number. Just to ask, is it the number that is important or that live bullet were fired at peaceful protesters and some died? 4 Likes |

xelly: Has anyone disputed that the army never used live bullet on the lekki protesters.. Have army not been using live bullet on Igbos, Shiite? Yes they used live bullet but they did not shoot at sight... |

A lot of life was lost at Lekki toll gate. The government covered it up and what made them to be able to cover this up is Lagos State Government 3 Likes |
Re: Nigeria Army Killed Him by helinues: 5:49pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
xelly: Again at emboldened, except if you want to be mischievous, nothing as such happened at Lekki toll gate cos the number of recorded dead would have been more and glaring.. |

xelly: Was shot fired during Immigration recruitment organized by Moro under GEJ that we recorded so many deads and injured? |
Re: Nigeria Army Killed Him by xelly: 5:55pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
helinues: From your point of view, we can only accept that it happened if all residents were wipedout? Live bullet in a crowded place is not evil I guess? What is their sin? Are they criminals? Were they armed? 3 Likes |
Re: Nigeria Army Killed Him by xelly: 5:59pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
helinues: A different topic and in that case, Reddington did not report of it's facility been overwhelmed. Can we deal on Lekki Massacre please? 2 Likes |
Re: Nigeria Army Killed Him by helinues: 6:00pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
xelly: Even though I am not justifying the use of force by the military personnel, but asking about what their sin is like dribbling back. The sars that the protest was about has been disbanded. A curfew was initially announced around 4pm but later changed to 9pm.. If there was curfew in every part of Lagos that day, what were those people( protesters) still doing around Lekki Toll gate around 8:45pm in their numbers |
Re: Nigeria Army Killed Him by xelly: 6:02pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
helinues: Your report said Curfew starts by 9:00pm and at 8:45pm what happened? why not wait till 9:00pm? 2 Likes |
Re: Nigeria Army Killed Him by helinues: 6:03pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
xelly: Not a different topic but same logic.. If no shot was fired during the Immigration recruitment and people lost their lives due to stampeding even when not hearing the sound of gun, wouldn't that stampeding could have happened at Lekki toll gate that day to have that number of wounded person... |
Re: Nigeria Army Killed Him by helinues: 6:04pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
xelly: Wait till 9pm when the curfew must have begun.... Or you don't understand what curfew means |

helinues: Yes, that is when curfew started not before 9pm. 9:01 can be questioned but 8:59 has no case to answer. 1 Like |
Re: Nigeria Army Killed Him by helinues: 6:07pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
xelly: Why not use the immigration scenario in this case... Must the wounded ones got their injuries only from gun wounds? Not everyone is used to the sound of gun |

Re: Nigeria Army Killed Him by helinues: 6:11pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
xelly: The decision to curb the protesters before the curfew was well initiated cos the case would have been more bad if they were caught after the curfew. I doubt if 20% of the protesters live in Lekki, how would they have transported themselves back home even those who are living in mainland?? |

xelly: The said Reddington hospital did not report any dead, if the protesters were shot at by the military, there is possibility of 5-10 % of the gun shot victims to die... Why are there no dead recorded due to gun shot by Reddington report? |
Re: Nigeria Army Killed Him by xelly: 6:15pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
helinues: What if they have booked a lodge in Lekki? No one is guilty until a crime is committed. Have they committed any crime when it wasn't curfew time? |
Re: Nigeria Army Killed Him by helinues: 6:16pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
xelly: Have all the victims of the gun shot wounds relocated that they can't come out and be the evidence? |
Re: Nigeria Army Killed Him by helinues: 6:19pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
xelly: If is a conditional statement... May be some of them might have made reservations for themselves at the close by hotels ( Money was involved), not all the protesters can have privilege to that.. Dispersing them before the curfew still make more sense than arresting them after the curfew And no ignorance in the court of law.. |
Re: Nigeria Army Killed Him by xelly: 6:21pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
helinues: Yes, because the wounded was attended to mostly on first aid bases and was discharged. Regarding death, I will rely on report on ground from videos and pictures such as the one in this post. |
Re: Nigeria Army Killed Him by xelly: 6:24pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
helinues: It is still not choice dispersing them when they haven't stayed till the curfew time. Remember, that is the youth and most people who attended that protest do not have money for food but were feed. Don't you think that the same would have been done for the accommodation? 1 Like |
Re: Nigeria Army Killed Him by helinues: 6:25pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
xelly: Have all those wounded gun shot victims relocated out of the country like DJ switch, why can't they come out and be the evidence? If you are relying on what the oo posted, then you are a on a long thing cos they have all been disputed far before today. Btw, op is the first person to post the photoshoot of Eniola Badmus being shot with well concocted story to back it up... The photoshop eventually back fired... |
Re: Nigeria Army Killed Him by helinues: 6:28pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
xelly: Have you ever been in a position of power before? I am not talking about politics, even just a class rep.. What decision would you have made if you were to be Sanwo Olu? Disperse them before the curfew or arrest them after the curfew? |
Re: Nigeria Army Killed Him by xelly: 6:31pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
helinues: I have said it before, the people are not guilty prior to curfew time and dispersing them is unprofessional which can be likened to thuggery. 1 Like |
