If Cavani leaves, then we should get one prolific forward and a back up striker not necessarily nearing the end of his career someone that is contented with a bench role...Just like Moise Kean at PSG, he is a bench player but whenever he is called up, he delivers...I'll give Martial one more season to compete with Rashford on the left wing...

Not really, But he should know that Greenwood is a "shoot first" player, a pass first player like Pogba, Sancho or Messi would have been able to play McT for an easy tap in.

With the kind of forwards we have in the academy and around the team, buying a young prolific CF might not be the best decision. Greenwood is a season away from taking full control of that position.
