i mailed (MSU) but application will commence in May, remember the school will require u to translate ur documents before applying, application for scholarship under study in Russia.
the school which admitted me has no scholarship, it was master program in English and didn't ask for translation or legalization with tuition fee of $4000 per year, am just confused self...lol

Re: Nigerian In Russia-my Experience So Far by chaiks: 12:20pm On Mar 27, 2021
Thank you. I received a reply from them
. Sure , one must translate before applying. But msu emphasised that for the time being, they don't offer scholarship. I think one will still need to undergo entrance examination. I don't know why they don't offer government scholarship.

Which school admitted you? I am considering MGIMO as a second option if they offer scholarship.

Check out skoltech. It is a school formed by MIT in Moscow, free accommodation for international students, cool stipends, insurance, flight covered, and no fee at all for anything. No GRE or English standard test needed.

Eligibility,
1. It's for science, check the site
2. Has only masters and PhD
3. Get first class, not part of the official requirement though.

Ask all your questions here regarding the school. I am a student there.

Opportunities are always there, there are people in StP & Moscow that are living from hand to mouth due to the high living cost and someone in Novobrisky is living fine.

It's just grace.

The new law which take effect from August 4th ,2020.. allow students to work , this will be the second time student law was signed and canceled .. in 2015 and canceled In 2016 without reasons and notification , now signed again In 2020..although there’s what is called регламент in Russia , there are laws but the laws are somehow rearrange depends on the regions students can work but there are specific hours , as a student of full time , it’s going to be difficult , bcoz mostly all jobs in Russia Federation is 12hours minimum , d only jobs with selective hours is waiters , waiters ( официанты ) in restaurants , bars and clubs , but to work in this category your language skills must be atleast 80% fluent , except if u Dey share paper for metro and streets .. all depends , full time work with good pay required minimum of temporary resident permit ( 3 years рвп ) which u can easily switched to part time studies in order to have full free time and access to full time job with good pay .. everything about Russia is experience , russia is soft if on arrival u met with good people , experience , they will make things easy for u . In Russia information is key ..

Thank you so much for your contributions, I'd like to ask..
Is it possible to apply for resident permit if I should come to Russia with Business Visit?
