Trading212 only allows you to withdraw funds back to the card you used to add funds to your trading account, so what happens if the card expires and your bank issues you a new card?

I dont think this should be a pproblem. You can always write them to update details. But just keep the old card incase

You can ask your friend to open Interactive brokers or TD Ameritrade account. These are apps you can open and trade with in Nigeria.

He should open with his name and every other details. You send him money which he will fund the account with and send you the login details. After trading you withdraw to his account and he will inturn send the money back to you.

That is illegal, what's wrong with us in this country, must we always try to go around the system? the people that made the app know cards expire, why won't he talk to them first & let them fix his new card there. Haba!

A day trader may lose a month's profit in a week.

Only a very little percentage of crypto day traders are making it big.

This is a no no for the following two main reasons and if I was the friend, I will never do it:

1. First, tax implication of doing that. The person (friend) whose name the account is under will need to file tax return during tax period and pay tax on all the gains made by the person the account was opened for. Not only that, the gain/profit from the trading will also put the friend whose name the account is under into a new tax brackets with its own several financial implications for the person.
2. Second, the act of opening account for somebody else but in your name is definitely illegal. The consequences are just not worth the risk.

this is why i stress on traveling abroad, cause if i continue with Nigeria brokers eh!

Irrespective, your suggestion is illegal and should be withdrawn. Stocks in other world is not just stock. It is tied to your profile and SSN so you are suggesting impersonation

With sell-off drying up and prices already beaten down whereby most of them are re-testing the 200 and 365 EMA its a sign of correction period being over. Also an indication of economic recovery implying that its time to load up on some cheap good stocks with minimum of 100% returns.

If you are already in the bus, just sit tight as the pay day is just around the corner.

If you have extra cash, it’s time to mop up and watch your money grow.

Looking at the policy direction of the government, focus should be on ESG, airlines, telecommunications, biotechnology other than covid vaccine development companies and entire EV industry value chain stocks.

It depends what you're buying for the long term. The overall market is expensively priced if you use metrics like the price-earnings ratio so not much bargains out there.

If I had to buy US stocks for the long term but which come with high risks, I will buy the likes of Gravity Co (GRVY), NMI Holdings (NMI), Freedom Holdings (FRHC), Zynex (ZYXI), Eagle Bancorp Montana (EBMT), SelectQuote (SLQT) and Regeneron (REGN).

By long-term, I mean buy and hold for 3 to 5 years. Because, the overall market is expensive, prepare for huge drawdowns in the short-term. But in my view, the companies I mention represent good value (lowish price-earnings ratios) and high growth in earnings and revenues.

BIGG Digital Assets Inc. ($BBKCF) and other crypto exchange stocks like $LGHL, $FTCV et al should gap up on the heels of Coinbase's ($COIN) IPO in few days.

BBKCF, a Canadian online Brokerage, and its subsidiary (Netcoins) announced in February 2021 that its crpto tracing and tracking software, QLUE was bought and is being tested by both the Canadian and US Govt Agencies. Alos, Netcoins announced daily revenues in Feb, 2021 of over $100k from trading on its exchange and the President of Netcoins, Mitchell Demeter is renowned worldwide for setting up the 1st ever Bitcoin ATM.

N.B: I posted a detailed review of BIGG Digital Assets Inc. ($BBKCF) on this forum some days ago when the stock was just above $2, but my post was deleted and I was banned by the anti-spam bot. The recurrent banning of posts makes it difficult to make any contribution here.

BBKCF has gained over 65% since my post that was removed by the bot (its is now $3.67 with 19.5% gain today). Current Analyst target is $4, but this could get to $5 - $7, having blown past initial analyst target of $2.5.

Disclosure: I accumulated $BBKCF under $2 and plan to sell 25% to lock in some profit once it gets to $5, then leave the remaining 75% for long term.

As usual, due diligence is required before buying any stock(s).
