Dessers fires all 5 goals in Genk big win

Cyriel Dessers still knows his way to goal after he scored five goals today for Genk to wallop Westerlo 5-1.

Dessers, who has had to play second fiddle to fellow Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu at his hometown club, scored all five goals by his team in a friendly against the second division team.

This season, he has only managed four goals and provided three assists in 29 appearances for Genk.

The 26-year-old Dessers cost Genk four million Euros last summer after he finished joint top scorer in the Dutch top league.

He would be placed on a lifetime pension when he eventually retires from playing for England, but u and I knows what becomes of those that retires playing for Nigeria.

Hmmm...all u screaming Nigeria should easily win games cos of the goal scorers in Europe are funny ooo...how good is our midfield... do we have a natural playmaker ( which is very key) or marvelous wingers....how good is our defence and goal keeper?? Its not about having goal scorers ( which we do) its about the midfield, the team... with all those goal scorers we have, if Egypt or Algeria hold us, they will still defeat us cos in as much as they dont have scorers like us, they have a better set up team
