Yet, another mass shooting in the USA today. The statistics in the US is staggering. However, it’s no excuse for our state of insecurity & it is immoral for us to compare & say ours is even lesser. But we should stop ethnicising & politicising what is clearly a global phenomenon

When there is terrorist attack or a shooting in the USA, the police makes sure the culprits are apprehended and sentenced to prison, but in our own case, the government protects the killers and sentence innocent people to prison.

In every mass shooting, the US government reacts at though it has lost very important people in the society

There is serious security presence and every thing is done to hunt down the perpetuators

But when killings happen here in 9ja, the best they get is condolences visits and political innuendos with nothing concrete done

Even when the criminals come to claim responsibility, nothing "visible" is done.

If these big men have lost close family members to violence they would not be talking like this
