concerning the depth of iyake lake, I believe modern equipment would do justice to that, with depth challenger this is possible, if the challengers depth (which is still believe to be the deepest depth of the world) is gradually being overcome, except the lake is extremely mysterious.
on another note @travelwaka were at thou come confirm this with pictures.

Yes he's 100% correct buh his inability to attach pix suggest that probably he got his information from another unquoted source.
While at the pick of the mountain, you can see as far as Lanlate, Eruwa to the south and Iseyin with other villages to the north
