SmartPolician:He was not asked why there are heaps of sand on all state roads Have the road sweepers been sacked?? |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Amah70: 9:19am On Apr 18, 2021 |
anselem87:So university is not a good thing. It’s obvious you never attended university, your writings show that. Universities in Owerri led to development of the area. You want Orlu people to forfeit their federal allocations but contribute money to develop their area. |

Amah70:we from ohaji and oguta are more valuable that ur useless Orlu yet we don't rant like u Sitholes, anu mpama |

RareDiamonds:In bold: where went justice and equity all the time Owerri senatorial district hosts FUTO, IMSU, AIFCE, FEDPOLYNEKEDE, FERCOLAT? Idea thing about teaching hospital now is convert Imo state university teaching hospital in Orlu to a federal university teaching hospital, that has been the demands of past governors of Imo state. Owerri area has developed, Owerri urban center has expanded beyond recognition through all the tertiary education institutions located in it. We need to use federal development institutions to stimulate development in the 2nd largest urban center — Orlu- in Imo state. |

anselem87:Mugu. Express your frustrations with those smart Alecs who used every governor of Imo state since 1999 to plough the 13% payments from oil money to develop their Owerri senatorial district, assuming you are truly from Ohaji/Egbema/Oguta area. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Ngorbungor(m): 11:19am On Apr 18, 2021 |
Amah70:Sometimes I wonder how you guys reason, Orlu Zone has produced 3 governor since 1999, spent 18years in office still counting, and you are here ranting, don't hold us for your ignorance and stupidity instead vent it on Udenwa, Rochas and Hope |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Amah70: 11:25am On Apr 18, 2021 |
Ngorbungor:No saner person would see what I wrote as borne of ignorance and stupidity. Or were you referring to Udenwa, Okorocha and Hope as stupid? |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Ngorbungor(m): 11:33am On Apr 18, 2021 |
Amah70:Please leave Owerri Zone for us in peace, see ooo!! we that just had 8 to 9 month as governor since 1999, don't want us to rest as if we put a gun on the head of those useless governors for Owerri infrastructural development |

| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Amah70: 11:55am On Apr 18, 2021 |
Ngorbungor:In bold. Gun on the heads of governors from Orlu senatorial district to develop only Owerri is by Owerri seizing all government development institutions in Imo state for only Owerri senatorial district. That prompts population flooding Owerri area. That necessitates governors to build infrastructures in Owerri area to contain the urban expansion in Owerri area. The present governor should have been bold to locate IMSU permanent in the KO MBADIWE campus in Ideato, as recommended by professors in Ihedioha government committee. |

"He who comes to Equity must come with clean hands" You want justice for Orlu zone but you support injustice against Other zones. You are an unjust, selfish and bias person. It will always be well with Okigwe zone. Amah70: |

Amah70:your second paragraph is very mischievous..guns on head indeed |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Amah70: 3:58pm On Apr 18, 2021 |
Ngorbungor:When were you born? I knew that there were little differences in the levels of urban development between Owerri, Orlu and Okigwe in 1976 when Imo state was created. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Amah70: 4:01pm On Apr 18, 2021 |
RareDiamond:By Owerri politicians cornering all government development institutions in Imo state for Owerri zone, they established inequity and injustice against Okigwe and Orlu senatorial districts. Problem with some of you is that you believe equity is only meant for sharing governorship post and other political posts. Equity demands that if FUTO for example, is in Owerri zone, IMSU must be in either Orlu or Okigwe zone. That’s how it’s in many other states. |

| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by rtdCivilservant: 4:26pm On Apr 18, 2021 |
Amah70:Are u stupid? U claimed universities are the reason why Owerri has lots of prostitutes, now do u want prostitutes to litter Orlu too? Just check urself and see that u are not alright. |

sanctity454:If I may ask, this Ohaji-Egbema that seems to be the sugar for Imo state when it comes to oil production, I hope that area is fully developed? I hope the oil companies there are carrying out CSR by atleast helping to build roads, drainages, schools and health centres? (Haven't been to that area before) |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Ngorbungor(m): 4:46pm On Apr 18, 2021 |
Amah70:I am old in enough to know that Orlu Zone have produced three governors and still counting but you guys can't hold your brother's responsible for the low infrastructural development in your area. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Yampotatocarrot(m): 4:50pm On Apr 18, 2021 |
asha80:Expansion for warehouse? How far can that road be extended again... Alternative needs to be done, I go with the flyover though, pull them that park or whatever close by and make better use of the river area As for fire service, there's sufficient space for expansion both sides, so those turning won't need to join the main lane... That's if the government will be bold enough to demolish the structures around that busstop |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Yampotatocarrot(m): 4:55pm On Apr 18, 2021 |
SmartPolician:Lol, you drive to a point then enter the "estate"... But if you're a pedestrian, there's a side path beside that "bush" you're seeing there that cuts through a kinda fish market or so, then back of people's compounds |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by huncho22(m): 5:04pm On Apr 18, 2021 |
Yampotatocarrot:for where ? Tho the place is still developing sha , most of the roads there are tarred |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Yampotatocarrot(m): 5:04pm On Apr 18, 2021 |
sanctity454:S.A to the governor is writing an appreciation letter to the governor for awarding a road, I guess because he's the one in charge of project monitoring... Make e no be say him no see work to do... Lol |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Yampotatocarrot(m): 5:07pm On Apr 18, 2021 |
huncho22:I agree with you... Malls/Supermarket/Hotel, Owerri is gradually becoming the best destination to spend your money... Let the hotel's add Casinos and we'll gradually start having a mini-Vegas in the making Make government just do their part sha, believing the violent news from Owerri stops, cos it's not helping the hospitality industry there |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Yampotatocarrot(m): 5:10pm On Apr 18, 2021 |
asha80:Sure, poultry are making it really big in Imo state as a whole. Infact, any animal farming, I know hotels and restaurants are seeking for goat meat like kilode, unfortunately they just can't get it cos it isn't available. Only issue is we ain't so big on food crops as we are more tilted to livestock. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Yampotatocarrot(m): 5:20pm On Apr 18, 2021 |
huncho22:They really need to do more for that area then. Look at the million and billion dollars investment Shell and Seplat are bringing to Imo state because of the oil there... Let's not neglect the mother that laid the golden egg, else we have another Niger-Delta in our hands Atleast, their primary and secondary schools should be upgraded and if possible, a vocational institute where skills related to oil and gas suck as TIG and MIG welding are taught |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by PROUDIGBO(op): 5:33pm On Apr 18, 2021 |
huncho22:Is it proper tarring or Rochas standard tarring that will wash away after a couple of heavy downpours? Anyone know how all these gas projects will benefit the coffers of Imo state gov’t? The gas being supplied to other parts of the country from Imo gas fields...how does it benefit the states IGR? Anyone? |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by PROUDIGBO(op): 5:38pm On Apr 18, 2021 |
Yampotatocarrot:I’m sorry, but that’s not enough! We’re talking of a resource that, had Imo been a country of its own...or part of a confederation like say the Arab Emirates, the state would have had total control of its resources, and with good management could be like Dubai in say the next two decades! |

rtdCivilservant:rtdCivilservant. In one sentence you call me oga. In the next sentence, you tell me I am spewing rubbish and even call me mad. Examine your head well well ooo. I will stop replying you. This thread is made for Imo state - not for Owerri, as you, and some bunch of retards want it. |
