Sometimes when I look back at my self, I was a good student, the best in my department, but after graduation I have learnt that book life is different from street life....
I have been depressed in the past, but i motivate myself and move on.
I have been teaching in one private school like that for two years now hoping job go come yet nothing nothing


Are there people wearing this same shoe of mine? If yes how are u coping

bro I tell you. Even this 15k you're getting. Here wey I dey na 10k teaching private. Before them pay you for the month, the money don finish with serious debt. Bro ogadinma

It's not being easy. Life b4 graduation was cool & nice but all that changed after graduation.

12k salary & not consistent. Always broke.

You remind me of own experience. Leave that job and pray God makes a new way.

You won't be able to see the future while engaged in that kind of job. You won't even be able to go for interviews while teaching and earning 15k.

Hmmm... God will help us all....

I never support him to leave without having any other means... But he shd continue to take risk of searching and attending interview, even of the sch will short pay him for that month...

Never underate prayers too...

Keep looking out for more opportunities and don't leave what you're doing now. A bird in hand is worth more than thousands in the bush.

The school owners are wicked. 10k and 12k salary. I pray for better days for you all.

It's not easy bro, I'm currently in my final year. Thinking about life after graduation makes me sad really.
I think you should major on your course of study, probably master or professional certification or better still save up and learn a skill...

I recently created a thread where I asked on professional certification to have in job search.

How are you able to search for job with such take home that isn't sufficient to do things? Hope you create time to apply for jobs.

As the best graduating student in your class, why not go pursue further studies abroad?

yes...They spend time studying one course....While university is mahadum...mara ihe n'ile dum.

OP am once in ur shoe but which I never hope of leaving there, one thing leads to another, one unnecessary disagreement with the board and some of my colleagues they just ask us to tender our resignation letter and we refuse but at last the man sack us....after I almost spend 5month at without lacking anything on my own cost..... from no where I don't even submit any application of which I know of....the next thing na interview about 4 of us dey choice me the next na to resume work.......
though its not my dream job but I have gain more experience and it's pay more then my previous job......
MY ADVICE : leave this current job of urs to give u more time to think and search for more opportunities out there but u most have a back up for almost three months to able to feed urself......

As in eeeh...I did a biz set up for one recently...A prof...Still even with the daily gain, she still has that little phobia of her money will finish...
