Good afternoon everyone.

Please i would like to know a better city to stay with the family between Portsmouth and Sheffield as my wife got offers for MSc Geographical Information Systems from both universities.
Portsmouth requested for £3500 tuition deposit while SHU requested for £1000.
I'm more concerned about life in both cities, raising a child and eventually job prospects as tuition would still be paid in any case.

Sheffield is not far from Leeds Beckett, if you choose Sheffield, she can still work at Leeds.
But don't be carried away by the 1,000 deposit, if you choose this school pay up to 3,000 so that she can enroll as soon as you get there. Raising your children will not be an issues.

Portsmouth Tuition deposit is okay but I don't know much about Job opportunities.

But those two places are good for Children

Please, I just applied to Teesside University for September intake, but I didn't add WAEC scratch card, just sent the original result. Do I need to send them scratch card?

Good evening boss, please, what was GTBank rate and the transfer charge, thinking of using them. Thank you.

GTB charges is on the higher side and they don't process as fast as you expected like some other Banks mentioned in this thread

If I remember well, I think 3days. I have had that offer since February. However, i will suggest 2-4weeks for standard wait time. It depends on your course

Thanks applied since march 24th .Have not gotten a feedback yet.

Hello, you can opt for the paid email on UKVI website. Did you make use of a lawyer for your AR?

Thank you for the response. Like I said, the deposit is not really a factor per say because one would still have to pay tuition on the long run.
Sheffield is good to go then. Let me wait for their unconditional offer and we get started.

Have you done your interview with Uni of Central Lancashire? They've scheduled some applicants for interview on the 19th and 24th of May, 2021.

I haven't heard back from them since I applied in January. No interview no email. I have sent them email couple of times, still no update. I might go with University of Plymouth. Where you invited for an interview bu University of Central Lancashire?

Please guys,a friend of mine wants to do her masters In University of Hull but the course she wants to go for is 7,820 pounds for the one year and university of hull gives discount of 1k pounds from what she found out so that means her tuition is now 6,820 pounds but now she’s worried that the 6,820 pounds tuition is too small and may not sponsor a tier4 visa..please should she go ahead and apply for this course? Is it advisable Is there a chance that they’ll give her visa with the very low tuition??

That’s really cheap as a matter of fact, so far the school is aware she is an international student and that’s the stipulated amount for international student for that course and it’s not a “short course”, I don’t think there is anything to worry about. There’s a page on UKVI website where you can access ALL tier 4 visa sponsors. But let her wait till she gets an offer from the school first before she knows the exact amount to pay. You can’t always judge from most schools’ website till you have an offer.

The tuition is for international students and it’s not a short course..it’s full time (1 year). Thank you so much for your reply,I’ll let her know what you said
