Since you 'uploaded' all documents today, that's merely uploading.

To submit your application, you must pay Visa fee and Biometrics fee.

Please go back to your portal and do that first.

Since you are submitting in April, the probability of getting a visa approval at the time you really need it (May) is slim.

Hello Good evening, please i need advice,i applied for a certificate program in a school in Canada in February this year 2021,i got the admission by March 2nd 2021, from the admission and suppose to resume class May 17th 2021. I have been able to my documents together and i submitted today 19th April 2021. Am waiting for the embassy reply may to tell me to pay visa fee and go for biometrics...my question is i dont know if i gave the embassy enough time to make decisions on my application. I dont know how long it normally takes to make a decision on a canada student visa...May 17th is just less than a month from now...please i need advice, cause am really worried.
Thanks all.

Sorry don't get it twisted. Your resumption date is may 17 and you submitted today 19th April, 2021 and already worried ?. If you worry what should people that submitted since September, October, November, December and even January do ? Cry ?. I heard processing time now is 20 weeks but no two applications are the same you may get approval tomorrow so don't worry. Just pray and wait. Patience is key !!!!

Both are considered upfront Medicals. In both cases, you will provided with a sheet to upload with your application.

These days it takes longer than a month for study permit to be approved. I would advise you defer the admission to maybe fall 2021 intake ( depending on the program). Just get in touch with your school & defer the admission, & hopefully before then your study permit must have landed.

Sorry for the late post

All glory belongs to GOD!
Applied: October 18, 2020
Biometrics: I did biometric some years back so it’s still valid

NSE letter: November 24, 2020 I sent emails and webforms that they should use the normal route for me that I can’t do Ielts and get the result before December 24, 2020

Upfront medicals : Nov 25, 2020
Medical updated to passed: December 4,2020
IELTS: December 3, 2020

Eligibility review: December 18, 2020 by the time I got my Ielts result and I realized I didn’t meet the cut off mark I had two 5.5 I was so frustrated. I actually used just two days to practice. So I sent another email that they should process using the normal route and I attached my MBS and semester fee receipt

NSE requirements submitted: Around 18 February, 2021 I uploaded my MBS and a letter of explanation about not been able to submit IELTS before due date . I uploaded it on my Gckey page where they asked for additional documents.
I later saw someone talked about EOR( IELTS result remark ) so I did that which took about a month to reply. I did it 11 December, 2020 and got a response 13 January, 2021. One of the 5.5 increased to 6.0. I was contemplating if I should send it or not but I sent it 11 March, 2021 with my explanation that I Just got my result because I didn’t request for my result until March
Btw I also deferred from January to May.
I also sent a lot of mails (everyday) and few webform (once in a while)
Ghost update: March 24 & 25
Bvl and PPR: April 12, 2021 submitted passport same day
Passport returned: still waiting

And I just want to let you know that I was denied study permit extension 4 times some years back and I kind of overstayed but I kept on applying so when I was refused the 4th time I came to Nigeria. But God helped me write a very strong letter of explanation and with a LOT of prayers. Thanks to everyone on this thread

Please I would like to know what next after submitting passport what’s the process? All I know is that my passport has been sent to Abuja. who can I email? where is the passport going to next ?

Congratulations. Please what are the documents u submitted while sending ur passport

Oh okay, sorry.

You will only be booking for three days mandatory.

After that, you can decide if you want to stay longer or move to another accommodation.

So the remaining days should be 11 days right
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by TundeTheHunter: 11:09pm On Apr 19, 2021
No, after the 3 day hotel quarantine is another 14 days quarantine. A total of 17 days.

Don't be scared about the refusals you have seen. Everyone has a unique story that distinguishes you from other applicants so I would say attach supporting documents enough for you to convince yourself that you are good to go.

I had a similar problem like yours while trying to merge my documents together to submit my application most especially the CLIENT SECTION which always takes the bulk. I also understand that the more you compress the documents, the more it looks so blurred and you are scared if the Visa Officer would be able to read it.

What I did was to separate the University Certificate, University Transcript, IELTS Result and Professional certification and attached it to the Admission Letter on the Certificate of Acceptance section of the online application portal. With that, I am able to free up some space in the client section. I also started each section with a table of content and page number so it is easy for the visa officer to see at a glance the documents in each section and makes their review faster.

It is better to upload your transcript end to end the way your school issued it to you without leaving out any page just to answer your question.

I wish you success.
I have submitted my application already like that. I was so scared that VO won't see the contents when they all appeared blurry so I started shading some documents. Please is their a way I can send additional documents and maybe reattach the transcript?

What school is this....?
Teeteejii:

It's also my sisters application. smiley

Her school had sent this email stating she can still start her semester pending the time she gets her study permit application up until July 16, 2021. I think that is what she is going to do.

"If you have applied for a study permit and have not received your approval, you can still start your semester:
Please reply to this email with a copy of your study permit application. This can be a screen shot of your application. You must apply for a study permit by Friday May 14, 2021.
Classes start on May 3, 2021. Please start attending classes, online, on May 3rd.
You have until July 16, 2021 to receive your study permit approval. As soon as you receive it, please email us a copy. If you don’t receive an approval by July 16, 2021, you are eligible for a deferral, as long as you have notified us of your application by Friday May 14, 2021.
Please continue to attend all classes virtually, starting May 3rd"

What was the volume of the complete documents?

Send them (the complete documents) to me, let me see if I can help you.

The thing is this, I already submitted my application. I am so scared right now. I wish there's a way I can attach additional documents.

Good evening evening.
I've been following this thread for a while. Thank you all for the information shared.

My eligibility review finally started today. First time applicant. Applied on the 31st of December, 2020. Biometrics captured and updated on 4th of January, 2021. Didn't get NSE request.

Hopefully this gives someone an update as to where IRCC are on the applications.

Wish all hopefuls all the best. As always, it shall end in praise.

Good evening Gurus in the house, I will greatly appreciate your response.

Do I declare my EMBA to the school and during Visa application or just keep quiet? Career progression in the financial industry will be my motive for the MBA.

Thank you for your support.

goldee29:
Good evening and thank you for the useful info on the various threads.

I was considering a Express Entry and strated with my ECA, unfortunately WES report stated my EMBA is from an unrecognized institution. This made me start to consider the School route, considering Age factor as well

My question is if I should state I have an EMBA when applying to the school/ Visa via SOP and Letter of Intent or be quiet about it and use my B.Sc degree and work experience.

I graduated in 2001 and have 17 years work experience.

Also, I will like to take my kids along as they are just turning 2. Would this be a good reason and not work against me in terms of Home ties.

Grateful for your suggestions and advise.

Lekiboboe:

To me this is wrong,
you have altered the transcript and made it invalid. In fact the page(bearing the address and office of the sender, name and recepient of the transcript) and the last page (bearing final cumulative GPA) as rendered it totally invalid and not a Legit Transcript, cos the bolded shows the source of the transcript, signatory etc. A Visa Officer might question your Transcript if he sees such.

A Transcript is a very delicate document, reason why many schools abroad always want the applicant school in their home country to send the transcript themselves directly to the school aboard.

4.09mb is the file upload limit, so try see if you can still do something about the compression of some of the files you intend to submit for your application.

Submitting a Transcript is no too much info. As regards refusal, NO TWO APPLICATION IS THE SAME!!!!. Avoid Comparison of an application to another, what favored Adekunle Might not favor Tochi cos they might have different background and financial capability
Chai! I don enter ooo cry cry cry

What do you suggest I do please? I have submitted my application already.

Also, the transcript was sent to the organisation I work with and it's the same address(contact) I used for my visa application. I got the soft copy in my mail and the hard copy immediately the secretary received it. That's the same transcript I uploaded as I don't have the student copy (my school don't issue to students).

My fear has gotten a solid ground and the best of me.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Baphil: 11:22pm On Apr 19, 2021
The answer is yes. Just like you wrote, upfront medical is having your medical done and submitted before it is requested for. So it can either be submitted together with your application or sent in after the submission of your application through a webform or email.

What you can do now is send your transcript via email to IRCC. Also, write a letter of explanation addressing sensitive issues, and send to them.

Then pray!

Oh no! I wish you had not yet submitted.

However you can still attach your documents through a webform if you so desire.

It is well. Don't fear; it will never sort out anything. Let's look out for solutions instead. Send the documents, let me see if I can reduce them.

So the remaining days should be 11 days right

I initially thought it's 17 days from the moment one steps into Canada, but I now concur with the 14 days stated by others, as this sounds logical and medically sensible, considering the internationally recommended isolation period for suspected cases of corona-virus.

However, you should ascertain from other members in the house.

If you've submitted your application already, send the mbs ticket to IRCC via email or webform.

Type a message along with the attachment to inform them what it is you are sending, and why you are sending it.

I meant to type "shedding", as in removing some docs. For instance, two docs that served the same purpose; I removed one, my four page transcript; I removed the first and last page. I thought that since I uploaded my degree cert and my intended course of study &work experience has little or nothing to do with my transcript, coupled with the fact that I had to achieve the much needed 4.09 mb, I could "shed" some pages with not so important information....I realize I was wrong.

I will send a webform first thing tomorrow with a letter of explanation.
