Unknown Gunmen Attack Enugu Police Station, Kill 2 Officers, Injure Others by COFFINSELLER(op): 8:25am On Apr 21, 2021

Unknown gunmen have reportedly attacked the Divisional Police Headquarters, Adani in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The attack was said to have happened in the early hours of Wednesday.

Two of the police officers on duty were reportedly killed and several others injured, while the police station was burnt.

Sources confirmed that the attack on the police station started at about 2:30am and lasted for about one hour.

In recent weeks, Police stations in the South East and some states in the South-South have been attacked by gunmen.

The latest incident took place on Monday, April 19 as unidentified hoodlums razed the zone 13 police headquarters in Ukpo, Anambra state.

Honestly matter dey upgrade based on police levels. I don't wish police evil but on a long shot most of them dead or alive, retired or active through their actions or inactions are responsible for what is befalling them. Every police station or headquarters in the south east is unarguably mapped out for attack. Make the ones wey never dey attacked yet no feel invincible because them fit be next. The aim of the ugm is unknown and who benefits is equally unknown. The possible outcome at the end of all these attacks is still unknown. Just yesterday a man was shot by the police in the stomach at igbariam junction (anambra) and the police men took to their heels. That is in fact implicating the nearest police station.

That is one thing news people refuse to attach to their news. Every police station attacked has a very bad record of maltreating people. Especially those involved in harassment of people during End Sars and Lock down. That is why people living in that environ never condemn the unknown Gunmen because it is more of prayers answered.

Hmmm.

I'm yet to read where Nigeria army arrested northern youths, both male and female in search of Boko Haram or bandits.

What you are doing in Imo state by arresting people carelessly, was exactly what you did in Portharcort and you were accused of raping young ladies in cells in Abuja.

If gunmen are always attacking police formations successfully, it means there is no security structure in Nigeria. They only act brick and mortar without intelligence. Same reason army can't defeat Boko Haram.
