It's gradually becoming a norm. Officers should always be at alert especially on duty...to avoid these stories that touch the heart.

The police deserve whatever that is coming to them in the SE. Their years of extortion has to end. If you know how many people these evil men in black has killed in SE, you will celebrate any time they are attacked.
During lock down, they killed more people than Corona virus. Every local government has at least 3 police check points at a go. That's why people are not condemning the attacks on them.
I traveled from Lagos to kwara with zero police checkpoint. I Only saw road safety people in a portion of the road that was damaged flagging motorist down. But in SE, you hardly travel 5km in all the roads without a police or army checkpoint extorting people. They even have road safety people attached to some of the check points.
Enough is enough.
I was once extorted 6k for riding a bike without particulars ( I left it at home)

The east is heading towards destruction if care isn't taken.
