There is a Trainee Sales position I have been asked to fill.
The role is to be filled by a smart graduate with the right attitude (we are also open to less qualified candidates who are committed to performance).

The job function will be to;

1. Create and sustain a customer base of 500 retail outlets (small supermarkets) in Lagos.

2. Managing these customers with a view to ensuring continued patronage on a biweekly basis.

3. Follow-up activity on new and potential outlets in new and emergent business territories.

4. Consistently update an online database and resource tool while providing daily reports to the dedicated group platform.

This is a field job and requires 8-10 hours daily (6 days per week) on the road visiting outlets.

The preferred candidate will work with a team consisting a Supervisor, Retail Specialist and Driver.

The salary will range from 30k to 100k inclusive of incentives.

Commencement is almost immediately.

I will nonetheless advise you to buckle up and confront reality. You need to start the journey with micro or baby steps.

The first thing to do is called survival. That requires you getting out of the hole you are in already. You need to start earning 30k monthly. 1,000 every day. If you do that daily then in about three months that amount will triple.

By the end of this year you could be making 10k daily from multiple streams. That will provide you with a foundation for launch into a more profitable venture. More importantly you will begin to enjoy more confidence and courage to embark on new projects.

It's not as hard as it looks. The biggest crisis is when you fall to the level of not even expecting your next meal.

Pls note that I do not advocate online business at this point. I really don't know my way around online earning activities.

You don't need millions as there are funding available in most cases. One needs to work on how to get it otherwise, one would end up in the circle.

You will be surprised at what your phone properly used can attract into your circumstances. Pls understand that some people have had funding for undergraduate studies without as much as having 100k in their account.

That's a very dangerous thought pattern you have there. Perhaps these anomalies can feature in a public service recruitment exercise and maybe even really large organisations, but in all honesty any serious private business driven by the desire to excel will choose proficiency and competence over all other primordial considerations.

All you need to do is become the very best in your chosen area of calling and then the sky will become your launch pad.

Don't be discouraged. Everything will always get better. I suggest you learn a skill or get a professional certification.

On my part, I got a project management certificate and another one on IT project management. Not just that, I am also a Content creator.

Why did I go to this part? I recognised it might be hard to get a proper job as a Political science graduate and I didn't want to take that chance. Please don't give up. Learn any tech skill you can, God will bless that effort and make it bear fruits.
