I am stuck & afraid to quit.
I am a graduate but decided to take dis job early last year when nothing was forthcoming.

Work where u earn 12k, n most times u don't get to collect d amount complete. U collect 3k or 5k after deduction of shorts & I.O.U. cos u don't even get paid at d end of d month.

Salary is usually not paid at d end of month but second month. Maybe mid or towards ending of d other month.
Bills piling up & always broke. 1year + on d job but nothing to show for it.

Work from Monday to Sunday. Resume b4 8am & close by 8:30pm or 9pm.

It's being very challenging & I felt I should share to get some advice.

Nawaooo. This is really bad. How do you even feed yourself?
Seriously just resign and think of something creative to do, this is the same thing as not having a job at all. And where are you based, would you consider relocating if you have a job outside your comfort zone?

Quit the job! The job is unfortunately tieing down your time to do anything for yourself. You can't even get another job or interview with this your present job description. Please stop this job. You won't die afterall and you will be glad you did later. I was once in your shoes. I felt so so bad few months after quitting my job. I was more broke but now I know I made a better decision then tho it was initially hard.

Mr man i just decided to stop by and say something because you need to hear from me,you are in the wrongest place, you are a graduate for christ sake, what where you thought in school, you ought to earn more, like at least 50- 150 thousand is your price, before you can be employed, not 12k you are worth more than that, more over which state are you in,if that state isnt suitable for you switch, but first alot is wrong you have a wrong mindset, first start by changing your mindset how get books to read plus the bible so you would know who you are and your worth because i can see you dont know your worth, then i advise you to start a business,it would pay you more, immediately i say you leave that place you worth more.

How do you even sustain yourself in such a job?

You're even a red pill guy living with his mother who frequently recounts his "exploits". When you aren't stirring the pot on misogyny, what do you do?

Yet you have the temerity to look for sex and note your "exploits". Your comments on the romance thread aren't doing you any favors.

The red pill is for one type of men, and this thread proves it.

Why didn't you post this under the red pill section? Women wouldn't want to help you with your type of orientation. Hopefully this post will galvanize one of them into helping you.
Yours is pure stupidity...what's your business with his exploits? Are you the one helping him...stupid people like you wants him to lose his confidence the more

If you're a graduate, for how long have you graduated?

I can see you're a guy, quit that evil place abeg. Even house maids earn more than you do! You will become poorer cause even 3-5k can't feed not to talk of other things.

Leave first. Get a friend to squat with anywhere down south. Riding Okada, tricycle or Uber will make more than 12k per day!

You will get a great job but leave that nonsense you call "job"

Op is probably lieing sha.

He is not, some factory owners are devils .And unfortunately nobody supervises them in Nigeria.

I suspect he works at a factory, probably he took up a job meant for menial workers and not for graduates.Alot of factories in Nigeria despite making so much money pay peanuts .His working hours is strange for that amount, because factory workers that earn that amount are usually on shift basis and they have overtime allowances and some bonuses.

I just can't help but imagine where this OP works.

@OP. Crazy job / working conditions.

A new project will commence soon in my work place, inbox me and I'll send you my email address, let's see what we can do.

It would be a contract job though but payment would be 100k minimum and you may have to move to Port Harcourt. The project is expected to last for 3 to 4 years.

Job is mon - fri and weekends are calculated as over time.

That sounds like a bet9ja cashier kind of job. My advice is quit in your mind, start looking for a new job or go and learn handwork. I worked once with them and it was hell. Always broke and owing the company, colleagues and sellers around. Then I decided to quit, so I went for a security training, I will lie to my boss am making an emergency travel or am not feeling well. Until I was done with my training.
I received several suspension and deductions but my mind was no longer there. My focus was somewhere else, when I eventually left it took my boss by surprise. I was good at the job but he never appreciated it. Today am now a CSO of a school

Op should send a PM.

Kindly please quit. Would pay you 50% of that current salary for 3 months consecutively free..

At least in 3 months you should have been able to apply and at least find something worth doing than this .

These are jobs that should be filled by kids waiting for UNI admission who don't want to be idle. Not one for a grown adult with an HND.

If this is true then it's a very big insult to you, how can you resume work early in the morning and close very late and by the end they'll give you what? 12 naira? there's even procrastination and deductions of that thing they call salary. working for a year + Hmmmmm. This is sure work in vain. you stress yourself for nothing. talk to people to help you, anybody can help, not only people you know. learn a handwork also there's no time o.

Please, don't listen to anything other than quit the job.
Your peace, mental stability and self esteem is what you have to guard jealousy. Don't trade it for anything.
Its the attitude of employers these days that gets to me.
When you quit, kindly tell us the name of the company so that we can treat the matter online(Dragging things) and save others working there too.
