BRATISLAVA:Thanks, bro. But I don't live with my parent nor anyone. I live alone. I started living alone since 1998 when my parent moved to my hometown. I trained myself in school, worked at a hotel & attended lectures at d same time till I graduated in 2011. |

Coldie:Pity? No, man. I have come a long way in life to solicit pity. I have seen d good, d bad & d ugly side of life. I have seen d worst that I almost sell my kidney but thank God, I didn't. Once upon a time, I was duin well with good apartment, lots of friends & some cash to throw around but everything changed when I quit d job I was doing then to go for NYSC, that's precisely 2012. The result which I lost my apartment & started squatting, got lean that people thought I have contracted HIV. I do hide from people who knew me b4 whenever I see them coming. That was few years ago. Why would I seek for pity now? If I get help while seeking for advice why won't I accept? |

...The truth is that you will not get another job while you are still on that one, the work is purposely designed like that to swallow all your time. and your boss making you ask for your salary before paying is intentional; this is one of the cruel theory of how to keep people under your control. just quit the job. no work outside but if you observe intelligently you will see opportunity. |

OP what did you study in the higher institution? What do you work as currently? If what you are currently doing isn't what can help you get your desired career job or establishing your own business, then forget it. Yes, the government has failed us and there is little or no job for many to compete for, however there are still jobs you can take up and help yourself that could pay you more than 12k per week depending on the skills you have and can acquire within a year if you so desire. Where do you reside OP? |

Eddodoh: I think your location is also a factor. That is probably why you can survive in 12k in the first instance. You need to quit that job immediately. You can start first with selling of small items e.g pure water, gala, etc. Buy in packs and sell in pcs. Alternatively, do manual job, where you can easily get 1 - 2k per day. After a month, you can gather the money to start something small. Then consider learning a handwork. Attach yourself with a plumber, electrician, carpenter, etc. As a graduate, you should be able to learn much faster. Then consider relocating South, where you can charge more for your services. |

Eddodoh: I don't know how things operate in Kaduna, but I advice people to relocate if their place of residence isn't giving them opportunities. As a graduate, Lagos, Abuja can give you better opportunities I believe. |

That work make me lean, i no even come dey wear beta cloth because na one cloth to work uniform till 9pm. i was paid 10k but was sustaining on the side money i got. My advice is on your off day, print out CV and submit to other firms or ask your relatives and friends, even some customers if they know of any other job opening around. |

I feel sad each time graduate share their bitter experience from unworthy job they do. It now make it seems as if being a graduate is a curse when common Barber with SSCE is earning up to 3 to 5k daily calculate the monthly value. |

Your four corner paper called 'degree' is part of your problem. Doing okada is far better than even 20k job. If you can ride okada, enter the business and use the money to start learning how to drive or any skill that you can acquire within 3months. I learnt tailoring while I was doing security and friends and family were laughing at me then but now I'm the one laughing at most of them. I have fed. govt. job and I'm into fashion design full time. |
