In essence I feel it's ONLY fans who turned up for ZSJL not the average moviegoer who felt indifferent.

Anyway sha time will tell what really happened, whether it's a BIG cover-up or public project to malign someone or not, time always reveal the truth in due course. Whether na next few months or 2-3 years we go surely know.

Cos I find it funny say EVERYBODY in the industry want to punish and malign just a single person who's also part of them, like say na govt official. So CNBC, Ampere, Nielsen, Forbes, TV Time and all tracking companies are on a massive global conspiracy to malign ONE PERSON. So WB dey pay everybody, or dey affiliated, no rival companies dey to corroborate or deny your data

But what I'm telling you is if the movie WAS actually very Bad, you wouldn't see it gross that much. Whether good word of mouth or franchise movie, if it WAS bad it will fall flat.

Judging with the hype and the controversies of Star Wars these last trilogies all made 1+billion. That dedication and decades of history didn't help Han Solo, for it flopped HARD. Even with massive criticism and hate from fans SW still delivers year in year out.
Venom that had poor reviews and critical bashing still made bank in style.

That's why I'm telling you IF people care for a movie they'll watch en masse.

Case in point BvS was teased and teased, the BIGGEST matchup the world has ever seen, the biggest Superheroes sharing screen together and adding Wonder Woman but wetin finally end am the first weekend. E no disappoint, e reach 1 billion dollars wey analysts and everybody expected easily.

First of all there were people that got and subbed HBO just cos of the announcement in 2020 that we were going to get it, Secondly they didn't drop the actual numbers that watched/streamed too

So you think it was just few fans out there that clamoured for Zack's cut to be released and WB we know will not only give the go ahead but also dished out $70m for Snyder to finish his cut.

There is difference between tease, good word of mouth and having a large fan base.
Your movie can be teased as the biggest matchup, but if it lacks word of mouth and by extension huge fan base (who are divisible like DC) it will hardly go far.
MCU is riding on their large fan base, which in turn translate to good word of mouth as results of their previous success.

I know of the 2020 subs but I can't believe it's significant enough to be major subscribers motive in 2020 when it's not even close for Release or even date was set. Streamers rarely drop their exact numbers unless in few cases where they make statements like 'biggest debut ever' 'biggest total Streaming numbers' without concrete stats.
As for the CNBC post I didn't get my numbers from them. I got mine from different stats about ZSJL performance. I only recently read it this morning.
On the performance side of things for ZSJL I never said it didn't significantly boost numbers for HBOMax. It did bonkers if compared to a Netflix worldwide stat for

This ZSJL matter I don check many articles taya cos na very sensitive topic. I hardly base by Opinion on one source alone. Cos at times narratives are kinda bias. That's why you match it with others, cos it's impossible for everyone to have same view.

I am only disappointed by HBOMax total numbers in relation to the Snyderverse hype and mantra for restoration. With all those millions of tweets and campaigns only only 2.8 million subs na im come out of it. To me that's AVERAGE. With the noise on social media I expected nothing less than 5million. Don't get me wrong, there's no way SnyderCut wouldn't massively impact HBOMax but the final numbers is disappointing to me in relation to its rave and hype.

I no even sure say Endgame make noise like this sef. Aha, you sef reason am na.

I didn't say peeps don't care. Average movie fans seems not to care enough or as much as DC fans.
Okay Bros kindly explain the Star Wars scenario cos they are easily a like for like fanbase such as DC with the division you mentioned.

Which franchise was Venom hanging on then with poor word of mouth and critical bashing.

In fact explain our own DC movie — Suicide Squad. With bad word of mouth, Critical trashing and blind hate from MCU fans how come it made that much. Even close to BvS. No be our own franchise, explain that one.

Since it's Flashpoint they should follow the animations and make Aquaman the bad guy...but they don't have the balls for that so maybe they would introduce the Time-Jerker from Henry danger

On a more serious note tho I think there would be numerous bad guys, maybe Thomas Wayne too or perhaps that's the role Keaton really signed up for
