I hope our darling soldiers and policemen are now impenetrable since the day they killed Ikonso? with their sophisticated weapons. What is this one i am hearing. It's fake news, our darling soldiers can not be killed even with juju.grin

We should be very careful what we support or permit inspite of the clear provocations from a compromised federal Govt.

At no time should we support the indescrimate killing of soldiers/police when war has not been declared.

It is a sure path to perfidy.

The problem with Nigeria is that they neither listen nor have empathy. For many years IBOP members had begged the Nigeria’s security to stop killing them just for carrying flags and for marching peacefully on the streets, so as not to push them to taking up arms. But Nigerians derided them, called them chest beaters and shouted, “Kill them all”. Now this same group is begging the same Nigeria’s security to stop militarisation of the Igboland and to stop torture and extrajudicial killings of the Igbo, to avoid another civil war. Once more, Nigerians are rejoicing and thinking that any war will be restricted to Igboland like it was in 1967. What these heartless Nigerians don’t understand is that there is nothing stopping the UGM from opening fire on people on busy streets in Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Kaduna as a deterrent to the killings in Igboland. What these fools don’t understand is that there is no reason why Eko Bridge in Lagos may not be blown to rubbles or NNPC headquarters in Abuja set ablaze as a deterrent to destructions in Igboland, that deterrence is how the modern warfare is fought. It is called Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD).

If that be the case, all Igbos in the West to the slaughter!!!

We won't take it easy with you guys. We'll ban movement of Igbos from East to the West with immediate effect, and then focus on total annihilation of evil-minded Igbos who choose to disturb the peace. The peaceful ones will be left untouched.

the same way they have declared state of emergency in Niger, zamfara, platue, southern kaduna, yobe, bornu, benue etc,and have also moved heavy artilleries with steady air bombardment in those places I mentioned above...last time I checked south east doesn't experience quarter of the insecurity in those states I mentioned above.....pray that you won't be unfortunate in life, because what I'm seeing in you is scary,a cloudy future awaits you...

Just pray!!

I'll personally volunteer to take up arms against IPOB terrorists. We must kick every evil out of the land. The majority of Igbos, who are law-abiding aren't in support of Kanu's terminal madness.

I think it's high time PMB gave a presidential order declaring a state of emergency all over the SE and other affected SS states. There should be full fledged war against IPOB terrorists without delay. Heavy artillery weapons should be rolled into the region and used against the insurgents, as well as constant air bombardments from NAF.

If Igbos say they are looking for war, then so be it!

In the next few weeks, we don't want to hear that there's genocide in "Biafraland." You guys asked for it, and very soon you'll get served.

Stop displaying how stupid you and your military might are. If it were that easy, why are you guys finding it difficult to crush Boko Haram?

Tell them.

It will gradually get to that stage if they refuse to listen now.

They think reminding Igbos of today how Igbos lost the civil war in 1967 would deter Igbos from standing up against their oppression of Igbos.

I have told them many times that 1967 is not 2021.

In 1967 Nigeria was supported fully by the two most powerful nations of the world then; Britain, Russia, Egypt, Arab nations and many more. The only nations that gave Biafra minimal support were France, Gabon.

Today UK is struggling to sustain their economy, likewise Russia and Egypt is almost dead. And these countries no longer have huge interest in crude oil to come fighting for Nigeria again when the world is moving away from fuel energy re-usable green energy solutions.

If ordinary Boko Haram could penetrate Abuja to drop bombs, what would happen when UGM or any other formidable tactical team decides to attack Abuja or any other Nigerian city.

Yorubas should continue cheering Buhari and Nigerian government on to go and destroy Igbo land, at the end, we will count score.

I had always feared this mayhem would reach Rivers because Wike handled that Oyigbo crisis very poorly with massacre, torture and rape of innocent civilians, just because they identified or supported IPOB or even just being ethnically alligned with IPOB.
He had earlier encouraged and supported the use of excessive force on IPOB when they were still demonstrating during the early stages of the movement while kanu was still in Nigeria.
This is now a test of Wike's gangster like governance.
I fear, like many brash touts,he may fail this test by soon coming out ranting, threatening and supporting the security forces to invade Ikwerre and arrest anyone they even remotely suspect has any affiliation to ESN or IPOB.
It may backfire.
What governors of affected States in the SE and SS should realize is that IPOB and/ESN is not a rag tag group of armed men,but a growing militia with increasingly growing support to modernize the armed wing.
Each action now taken should be well thought out and geared towards winning minds of those who even if ethnically affiliated to IPOB do not necessarily agree with its modus operandi.
Any replica of the Oyigbo formula would just cause the loss of many more lives on both sides.
Guerilla warfare is always the worst kind of war to win.
you are sense in deed!

Have you considered that you yourself might get killed by trying to kill millions of the Igbo most of who, believe it or not, are now armed. Do you see them running back to Igboland like they did in 1967? What does that tell you?

No wonder some say we are our worst enemies, Tufia.

Did you even spare a thought for the innocent women and children you are putting at risk? The innocent young men that will be picked up in raids against "unknown gunmen"?

Just like Late Dim Ojukwu did at first before later repenting & pledging allegiance to Nigeria after millions killed despite being better prepared with foreign allies, some of us still think ragtag ESN can use force to overwhelm Nigeria because we now have smartphones. Lol.

What was previously bad in the SE will end up worse. Imagine what would happen to the multi billion naira hospitality industry in Imo if this violence is sustained. You think anyone can go to the markets with the sound of bomb-laden fighter jets over their heads?

Hearken to the wise counsel of Biafran General Phillip Effiong upon surrendering to Nigeria after Nnamdi Kanu Ojukwu fled:

Biko it is profitable to be wise.
