I can say for sure that Umahi's mall will outclass Obiano's. When it comes to standard and quality of projects, no governor in the Nigeria (not just SE) comes close

All these Umahi urchins everywhere. You people have left facebook to come here with your idiocy? Which one is Obaino's mall? Did Obiano design and build any mall? He merely completed projects inherited from Peter Obi as part of his continuity pledge. It is obvious that if Obiano had designed the Onitsha mall, it would have been spectacular in his traditional way of doing iconic projects.

Umahi has NEVER trumped any Obiano project! Not to mention that apart from a few flyovers, Umahi has virtually no other projects in Ebonyi state. Compare that with Obiano that has transformed his state in almost every field of human endeavor.

One of Umahi urchins opened two threads here to show how Umahi trumped Obaiano. Only to abandon it midway because Umahi had absolutely no achievements in Ebonyi except the market, 3 flyovers, a few roads in Ikwo and Afikpo, Ecumenical center, uncompleted medical college, Mall and uncompleted airport project.

Please Follow the link and go to the thread to post Umahi achievements and don't bother us here with silly arguments :

Oh you are now calling Lagos, but you were just here comparing your local champion Umahi to Obiano. That's why you should respect yourself when big boys states are talking

If Anambra implement visa policy, ebonyi indigenes would be sleeping in Anambra embassy just to get Anambra visa. That's how much ebonyi people wishes to enter Anambra for better life and greener pastures.

When Ghana's economy became better, they all left Nigeria back to their country. In the case of ebonyi state, stats has shown that in the last 5yrs that their population in Anambra has doubled, this has prompted their governor to create a whole ministry for ebonyi people living in Anambra. That's the governor they wanna compare to Obiano

You see why when Yoruba call themselves the most accomodating and sophisticated tribe in Nigeria, I agree.

With this type of your mentality, what is the difference between you and a jihadist from Sokoto who believes only Muslims should occupy his state and obey Sharia?

How can you be an Osu and then compound you problem by having an Aboki mentality.

Dont mind the clowns. They dont understand the adage adiro ama aka. They should be more concerned that Keke and okada are the ones making use of Umahi flyovers while povety is eating deep in the state. If we respond now they will start crying how Anambra people hate Ebonyi people.

Umahi is busy sending his officials to understudy the Obiano model while they are here talking nonsense.

My brother nothing wey Musa no go see for get. Imagine Abakaliki(Ebonyi) comparing their sate with Anambra. they are even comparing their gala local airport with Anambra international airport. that local construction work their governor is doing there with bamboo everywhere at this jet age. what happened to morden/ suspended scaffold? I wonder the construction company that is building that thing. We all know that Anambra international airport is being constructed by Craneburg. Now I ask which construction company is building Abakaliki gala airport? Don't be surprised that the roofing frame will be done with wood instead of steel; that is if
the white elephant project ever get to roofing stage.
They said they are building airport and uptill now we are yet to see the tower.... or will the tower be attached to the so called terminal building?
Osadebe said that it's only a fool that does not respect who is greater than him.

Absolutely, Anambra people want a seasoned and trustworthy steward with verifiable evidence of spectacular achievements under difficult circumstances to continue from Obiano. Prof. Charles Soludo towers above his contemporaries in possessing what it takes to systematically drive Anambra towards becoming a globally acclaimed and developed commercial destination like Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok or Dubai.
As much as i like Dr Maduka and his philanthropy, as a medical practitioner here in the USA, i know that a pain clinic physician is typically wealthy because people here want the strongest pain killers for even mosquito bite, but such physicians are typically empty upstairs.

Meanwhile, preparations for the test flight next Friday at the airport are being done.

I hope they make the access pavement from the car park into the terminal building to be sloped so that luggage carts and suitcases with rollers can easily be rolled to & from the airport terminal to the car park. At least if it's only to slope the two points facing the Departure and Arrival doors which directly lead to & from the car park. Instead of putting steps or a staircase, and making the task of moving one's luggage from the car park into the airport terminal or from the airport terminal to the car park upon arrival a herculean task. Of course, they can put steps in other areas so that a lot of people can quickly access the terminal without everyone forced to use the two sloped paths meant for luggage carts. Asaba Airport got this part very right as you can easily move or roll suitcases from the car park to the terminal either via sloped pavements or steps.

Very little things like that which show they considered the ease of using the facilities by passengers go a long way in helping people to decide if one airport is smoother to travel from than another.

Anambra Born Mayor London Borough Of Brent Presents Recognition Award To Dr (Mrs) Obiano For Her Roles In Fighting Sickle Cell Anaemia

By Daniel Ezeigwe (ABS Reporter)

The Mayor of London Borough Of Brent, Mr Ernest Ezeajughi has presented a recognition award to the wife of Governor of Anambra State, Dr (Mrs) Ebelechukwu Obiano for her excellent work and contributions in creating awareness and support for people living with sickle cell anaemia and other disabilities, through her charity organization, Caring Family Enhancement Initiative, CAFE.

Presenting the award to the governor's wife at the governor's residence in Aguleri, flanked by her husband, Chief Willie Obiano, the Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Ado Ekiti, Most Reverend Felix Femi Ajakaye and the traditional ruler of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Achebe, Mr Ezeajughi said that Dr (Mrs) Obiano has used the instrumentality of her NGO to bring medical and emotional solace to those living with the sickness.

The Mayor whose tenure in office is officially coming to an end tomorrow, April 25, 2021, also urged the governor's wife to sustain her humanitarian projects.

Responding, Dr (Mrs) Obiano who shared her experience being around a sickle cell patient, having lost someone close to the ailment few years ago, said that she was emboldened to create more awareness about the dangers of the illness by advising intending couples to go for mandatory genotype test before marriage.

She thanked the Mayor for partnering with her NGO since 2019, observing that the relationship has achieved huge results.

She also thanked her husband, Governor Obiano for his immense support, adding that it has remained a significant boost to her charitable activities in Anambra State.

Airport inspection and prayers by Bishop Femi Ajakaye & Fr Ejike Mbaka.

Next Friday (30th), we shall observe two planes land on Runway 24 and Runway 06 to test-run the facilities at the airport before the official commissioning.

The inside of the terminal building is also being completed aggressively. I hope they will add some touch of class by using brown bricks on sections of some walls inside the terminal building, instead of just using paint all over the walls. Red or Brown indoor Bricks on some walls in an international airport also give it a unique touch of class. Even if its just using bricks for half of the walls in some areas.

The water treatment plant is quite massive and capable of taking care of all water needs of the airport!
