The only reason you opt for a secret trial is because you know when the BDC operators start squealing, the names will involve members of the Al-Qaeda People’s Congress.

A lot of people here are moaning about the fact that the trial is secret.

Well, the reason why the trial is secret is simple...it would involve testimony touching on intelligence operations, which are meant to be kept secret, and whose exposure could give the advantage to Boko Haram.

The government , incomeptent as they are, are for once being very very careful. Any trial to do with Boiko must be held in secret...to protect intelligence assets. An open trial risks exposure, and Boko adapting to the new situation.

I am still amazed that some people really believe that those BDC operators are the sponsors of Book Haram. Since the arrest of those BDC operators, have Book Haram stopped their attacks? Have they in any way shown that they have been cut off from their sponsors? Let's keep deceiving ourselves. Who gets rid of a tree by merely cutting its leaves?
