Go for Radiography it is not flooded like Pharmacy and opportunities are there for them. For instance, if there be an invitation for jobs for medical graduates of all medical lines. Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists will definitely apply in their large number but Radiographer will be in the least of those applications.

Radiography? That's too dumb and unequivocal. How would you compare an Independent course like Pharmacy to a Course that beg Medicine for food. Radiography can never ever make you rich. Radiographers are not even useful in field work sef. Radiography is not to be compared to Pharmacy in any form. You should compare Radiography to Medical Laboratory Science na im level be that. Big boys are talking then one Omo ise dey chook head? Even in field work Medical Laboratory Science even beat Radiography.
A Radiographer in the US and UK earn lower than a Pharmacist abeg. OP so because they're all health related you should compare them?

Be careful what you wish for. Pharmacy is a trillion dollar industry. I don't know much about radiography. Just look at what is going on in the present covid19 situation. Some pharmaceutical companies see it as a once in a lifetime opportunity to CASH OUT AND CASHING OUT THEY ARE. Pharmacy is not what it appears to be. Be careful what you wish for, Pharmacy is coined from the Greek work pharmakeia which means sorcery or witchcraft. Mixing potions and whatever in the name of science. It's all a lie, drugs can't cure anything. Make sure on your quest for something lucrative you don't find mammon. Thank you.

There is this logic of being your own master. In any hospital, the head of pharmacy department and the top dogs in the department are all pharmacists.
In same hospitals, the head of radiology department are strickly doctors called radiologist. Radiographers are not radiologists. Radiographers expose pateotns to radiation of xrays, CT scan, MRI etc and that's where their work ends. This images are by themselves useless for clinical practice unless they are interpreted to help make a diagnosis. Only radiologist are entitled to interpret radiographic images. As a radiographer, you'll be under the shadow of a radiologist for life. Even if you venture into private practice, no doctor worth their name will send patients to you and rely on your interpretation. Whatever a radiographer knows about image interpretation, the average doctor knows and know even more. For more complex image studies, input of specialist doctors called radiologsts are sorted so as a radiographer, you'll still be under the shadow of the radiologists even in private practice.

If working for people is your thing, go for radiography.
If being your own boss is the idea. Go for pharmacy. Both pays. Some radiographers earn more than some pharmacst and some pharmacists earn more than some radiographeras it will profit you to know that the average pharmacist earns more than the average radiographer both in private and government agencies.

Those who enjoy radiology are the doctors called radiologist.

The business side of pharmacy is where you have big money.


Owners of Most big pharmacies you see around are not even pharmacists. Just big, smart business people.

Pharmacisist should never prescribe drugs cos they are not licenced to do so but not in Nigeria.
They claim drs, lab technicians etc.
Pharm is dead in Nigeria and will never advice anybody I know to do that.
Do we have pharm companies in Nigeria at all?
Don't add emzor and juhel.

A pharmacist may decide not to work for a year and still earn up to a million with his license that year.

Just not happy at the level the profession is right now. At least others are trying to climb small. But pharm, no way.

Oxford university made a breakthrough with malaria vaccine just yesterday and if all goes well, your country will be among those it will be shipped to.

So far 75% positive response.
Where are the pharmacists in Nigeria?
