Sun rays with the husks on the coconut tree are responsible for this
not sun rays, its lightening, I've experienced it thrice, all three times were on coconut trees

Exactly my point. I was only explaining to the former who seems to be wowed by the headline. For your information, the fact that this made frontpage shows many persons really think this is strange.
that's not why it made front page, its not strange but its rare, I've seen it only 3times in my entire life, and I have seen a lion more than 3times

Imagine if the lightening had struck a human. It would have been a different story by now.
Coconut seems to be a strong conductor than humans, it will hardly leave the coconut and strike a human

I agree with you. But it's not impossible for it to strike humans, right?

The guy said my camera bad no need to go close.
He has taste, he got a good phone. But I think he should have used that money to educate himself. For later he said it was struck by lightning. And later he said na winch. Bros na lightening bring fire na.

Lastly minimise the way you say thunder fire you. It just might happen. [b]Direct your thunder to only one person in this country[\b]

It's only rare in towns and cities where there are few palm trees and coconut trees. If u live in rural areas, u will see this regularly.

and its not like it happens daily in village and also not every village has coconut plantation for people to see this, also lightening doesn't strike every time and only about 47% of Nigerian population lives in the village and this occurs during a bad weather when 98% of those in the village are indoors making the people that could be fortunate to see it to be such an insignificant number and u must be also lucky to be close the palm tree that got struck by the lightening.

All these conditions makes it a rare thing.
U can't tell me u see it every year in the village also

Killing a monitor lizard is far much more common that seeing a palm tree on fire. If monitor lizard will make news, why won't this?

After now mumu Righteousness will come now and start typing lubbish. Before the Lord's chosen crew will come now and say, 'the God of Lazarus Mouka' answers prayers. But the guy above me, who told you it is the effect of lightening? That thing might be more of spiritual than physical. Remember Festac77? Some of those demons decided to stay behind when those who brought them had gone back to there country, hence the beginning of Nigeria's problems.

FTT till infinity. You are on point. Once you enter the town as a full blooded home grown festac person, there's nostalgia feeling that comes over you.
I am sure you must have felt a little bit of it just going down Memory Lane. Greetings from a 721/24 road bro.

Back in those years, Festac Town had coconut trees almost in all closes. It was fun seeing coconuts fall and residents will rush to pick them up.
The trees are almost in extinction now because the coconuts fall and smash car screen .

Those that grew up in Festac Town like me in the 80s and 90s can relate to my story
