Yampotatocarrot: Abia state is calm a little because the Ngwa peeps that make up the majority of the state isn't too much into Ipob and the herdsmen issue isn't as bad as other places.Aba is heavily built up,it won't be easy for this UGM to operate without civilian casualties. If you notice, this problem is very much happening in areas with overwhelming Ipob support like orlu . |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Abagworo(m): 10:43am On Apr 28, 2021 |
eduj: First of all Abia is not majority Ngwa. Majority of people in Abia State are combination of Akwaibom, Imo, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, other Abians, Crossriver, Rivers and Delta people living across Abia State. Even Aba as a city is not majority Ngwa. The IPOB presence in Orlu isn't overwhelming cause if it was then Imo would have been a hot bed under Okorocha. 1 Like |

Abagworo:Abia state is majorly Ngwa(7 out of its 17 lga's). Aba is an emerging metropolitan area so yes it has a wide range of ethnic groups and even expatriates.Under okorocha, Ipob hadn't been armed. Watch again, for this UGM to operate ,the need hideouts in rural areas for mobilisation and training. Those facilities can only be sited in areas very sympathetic and engaged to the cause. As of now, that isn't the case in most of Abia south and central senatorial zones. The above is what wike tried to deny Ipob in obigbo with the military operation |

IFAD, FG eye Imo State to Site Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone Project April 13, 2021 Dikachi Franklin Owerri Hope of unemployment reduction is building up in Imo State and signals for job opportunities are rife with the coming of the African Development Bank (AFDB), International Fund for African Development(IFAD) in collaboration with the Federal Government of Nigeria to build Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone Project in Okigwe in Imo State. Already Imo State has been identified as one over 200 trillion cubic feet gas deposit, the largest in West Africa and the federal government has created a commission , called the National Gas Expansion Commission which would among other things train , equip and ensure that human capacity is developed and jobs created in the gas sector. Read Also: Also, a firm called Imo- China Investment and Trade Centre is working assiduously with the Chinese Company to establish a multi billion naira industrial zone in a place called China Town in Imo State. The joint efforts of the African Development Bank, the International Fund for African Development and the Federal Government to set up Special Agro -Industrial Proceeding Zone Project was disclosed in Owerri during the visit of the team led by Richard Mbamara to the, governor, Hope Uzodimma. According to Mbamara, the essence of the visit was to see for themselves, the available infrastructural facilities in the state which would help to qualify Imo for the siting of the project. Already, the team had visited the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport and was satisfied with what they saw on ground. Meanwhile, Chiedozie Egesi, the lead Consultant of the project said “the team has made some significant milestones having identified things it will focus on which include the Cargo Terminal at the Sam Mbakwe International Airport.”. Egesi also disclosed their plans to visit some privately owned poultry farms in NgorOkpala and the livestock processing hub at Okigwe where they hope to “establish dairy industry in an integrated place where the Mission of the Bank -the Feed Africa Team will be met”. https://www.businessamlive.com/ifad-fg-eye-imo-state-to-site-special-agro-industrial-processing-zone-project/ 1 Like |

Mathoj: Chino forget this your rant. Imo Cargo Airport remains the biggest in West Africa equipped with fridge warehousing facilities. That Okorocha's successors are not intelligent enough to avoid politicizing it does not make it wrong. A future Governor will revive it and clean up the likely rotten infrastructure by then whether under Nigeria or Biafra. 3 Likes

Stupid useless insecure fool, even when another person says the bitter truth, you would find a way to link it to chino. That was how you said that Afam4eva and asha80 are chino. By the way the guy was very correct, imo is yet to have an airport, that motorpark in Imo state can never pass as an airport . Foolish old man [s] Abagworo:[/s] 1 Like |

sanctity454: It is absolutely impossible for Uzodinma to win 2nd term or any elective post in Igboland presently. He chose wrong battles with the wrong people and has fallen out with his own people too. If I were him I will gladly down tools 2023 and retire to a comfortable Island outside Nigeria to enjoy my money in peace. Governance is not only about power play but human management. 1 Like |

leicestercamper: Exactly what you call Airport in Anambra is just one conference center in Imo but you had the guts to call a Cargo facility with 9 times the size as Motorpark. Where will the cargoes be offloaded? Does it have cold warehouse for vaccines and perishables? 2 Likes |
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by leicestercamper: 7:59pm On Apr 29, 2021 |
Lying old man, you posted the warehouse conference centre in place of Imo airport terminal. Building useless substandard warehouses doesn't mean anything. Stop embarrassing yourself everywhere. Imo is yet to have airport, what you have in Imo is a motorpark. Compare the control towers ![]() [s] Abagworo:[/s] 1 Like 2 Shares
