Drs in the hauz,

I am an undergraduate, currently in 200L. While we were in 100L, my Roomie used my favourite boxer and I soaked & washed it with hot water thinking it should purify the boxer but I noticed ever since that incident, there has been an unpleasant odour from my balls/thigh area. I noticed the colour is somehow pinkish as well. It scratches sometimes.

I have tried using all sort of antifungal cream's from Ytacan, Funbact, Nixodermx, Dusting powder etc but still the stuff seems to be resistance to all of them.

Is there hope??

I have gone to d pharmacy and it was said to be JOCK ITCH.(Tineae Cruris)
focin (Hanbfulvin) and sulphur ointment were recommended, I was told to complete d 20 tab dosage no matter what.
(Hope I did not murder d names of d drugs)

I hope I get healed,
I have really learnt my lesson

it was a phamarcy in my base.

1.Have u confirmed it?
2.Read the post from the beginning
3.As I said am still on d medication but it is gradually getting better
4.A Sulphur Ointment was recommeded (Supasulph) & Fluconazale or focin but the fluconazole was expensive so I went for focin.
PS:Its gradually easing off i can say that,today is day 7,that have been taken it...

I pray we both get cured sir.

its possible to reappeard after a month if u stopped taken ur drug, thats fungi is very stubborn

the pharmacy lady said that,in fact she adviced I burn or use hot water or dettol to wash my underwears..trousers inclusive...

PS:Or u have another way we can treat it for future reference for anybody that might come across these thread.

2.Itchiness totally gone
3 Balls Colour as black as charcoal
Never new my balls could be this black.

i'm going through this jock itch or whatever My thighs are peeling towards my anus area and by balls are pinkish too. It always feel moist and it did itch and stank the first time it started, at the moment its dried and flaky, dust looking. I was searching for a solution and google directed me here. Thanks bro. Mine is reoccurring, after treating it with Mycoten. The itch no be here man, and the skin peeling and the stinking . How much does the fcoin and sulphur ointment cost?
