Can you post the picture, video and the site where the airport is located.

For me, I will tell you that ogun does not need an airport. They is an international airport in Lagos with a standard guage railway linking Lagos, ibadan and abeokuta. So wasting money building such project while ogun state roads is Soo bad and dilapidated.

It's very Ok, expansion is ongoin as of today, and they fly many routes (Abuja , Lagos , Kano, Uyo etc) almost all local careers fly in daily and Airpeace just joined... Hajj pilgrims are also been airlifted

.
As an ibadan resident and one that uses the local airport here sometimes.

It's very palpable that you ar describing another airport

Kindly do us a favour by giving us the name of the actual airport.

Mind you, I believe that both ibadan and Anambra airports are both misplaced priorities by clout chasing and clueless political rulers

What does everything in south east always look substandard.

Looks at how reddish and ugly the airport looks.

Hard to believe that is a freaking new airport.

Looks like something colonial masters put together in the 30s to steal resources.

Please spread this bitter fact to every inch of Nigeria,
our leaders have reduced our thinking to the point that when we see infrastructure, we becomes fools.
Imagine in this century, one politicianwill carry scissors and be cutting ribbon to open roads, clinic, schools and all we do is hail them, haaaaaa we don suffer, they are using scissors to commission what is meant to be our gangan making it seems as if they are doing us a favour. We are so lost in this part of the world
AbaganaMiracle:
So much so for "international airport status" We Igbo people are not known to accept mediocre. Those of us shouting "international" should hide in shame. Fulanis, a set of marauding illiterate immigrants from the foothills of futa jalon are denying you the freedom to build your infrastructure the way you want, and some of you don't see anything bad about it? Yet, you call yourselves Igbos?

Our hope for world-class infrastructure ONLY lies in Biafra. It's a shame seeing the mighty and who-is-who of our people coming out to celebrate this empty shed look-alike as an achievement and a leap in development when we are sitting above trillions of dollars worth of oil reserves/money in all Igbo territories. SHAME!! SHAME!! SHAME!! to our people. Below is what our Igbo race deserves as an airport and nothing less than that. It's our oil money (80%) of oil in nigeria that is being divided amongst nigerians. Money from our land and we are cool about it? Tufiakwa!! Alu!!

Nnamdi kanu biafra will bring more sufferings to us, he is already acting like a dictator, do you think he will want to organize an election after spending 8 years in power.

No be even just dictator sef.

The one of people prostrating and kneeling to him I no understand.

We might end up turning eastern Nigeria to Zimbabwe.

Anambra is commercial and industrial state, forth largest economy after Lagos, Rivers and Abuja, host the biggest market in Nigeria, with other international markets, what we built is Cargo and passenger airport not Ibadan local passenger airport.

Anambra international airport has the longest runway(3.7km) in Nigeria aside MMIA(3.9km)

Pictures of the First and 2nd Commercial Flights Lands at Anambra International Cargo And Passenger Airport Umueri

Wrong! The longest runway in Nigeria and West Africa as a whole is the runway in the Nigerian Airforce Tactical Air Command based in Makurdi.

What's the excuse for the one built in 2021?

Am sure u got those figures from the biafran bereau of statistics...

To say 80 percent of the goods that pass through the sea port are owned by Igbos is foolishness..so u now allocate 20 percent to the huge petro NNPC import the sugar of billion of dollars BUA and dangote imports..the raw corn by flour mills and dangote...Inshort almost all the factories in the west import through that port in extreme amount and ur telling me it just 20 percent compared to what goes to Onitsha and ABA..as the only economic zones in the SE..ur just a deceiver...

Am not even going to speak about the air travel cuz no sane human will take u seriously....
All years akanu ibiam airport has been receiving international flights from 4 international airlines with Ethiopian being the highest...Enugu airport has never in it life time generated profit..cuz it still the least used...the only reason Enugu has small international airlines patronising is because there is no market..u think Anambra or Ebonyi airport will change that..it means more loss for enugu....even imo airport isn't profitable..the only profitable airports in nigeria is MMIA, Abuja and Portharcourt airport..every other local and international airport is only a burden on government...

Argue with facts...cuz all my points are backed up with facts not illusions
AbaganaMiracle:

FACT!! More than 80% of the oil in Rivers state lies in Igbo territory. Over 60% of oil money in Delta state lies in Igbo territory. Over 20% in Akwa Ibom and Cross River states. Forget about Gowon boundary creation, once the referendum is finally called for all Biafrans to vote to either belong/join Biafra or leave, the natural boundary of Igbo people will fall in place.

May I also remind you that the oil reserves in Igbo hinterlands are far much bigger than those already been explored in Igbo ceded territories to other states by your rogue state of nigeria. We have oil reserves in Ebonyi, Imo, Anambra, Abia, and Enugu states which are yet to be exploited and will be explored after the restoration of Biafra.

Lagos state as the largest tax earning state for your nigeria is because of money from Igbo businesses. TinCan and Apapa seaports as the largest foreign exchange earner after oil for your nigeria handles over 80% of Igbo goods out of 100% of goods that pass through it into your country nigeria.

Most of the people that use your MMAiport Lagos, both passengers and for cargoes are Igbo people and over 80% of MMA's revenue comes from Igbo people. After Biafra is restored, all this money will be channeled to our nation and will be beneficial only to our people and not to any parasitic people anywhere.
