I advise you to do the following: start learning programming by yourself and show your son what you can do with some basic programming skills. You may create some simple computer game together with your son and ask him about some details like which color the background should be or what the appearance of the characters he likes and so on in order to make involved in this whole process. I guess that if he sees what you can do with programming, he will also like to try this and build his own computer game. Children usually take their parents for the model, so, be his model! |
