Tell me any Nigerian full backs that would have taken the ball off werner cleanly ? He took that for the team but you are too hateful to do that
Oldboss:
which fair game he played awfully that kai first goal was partly his fault
then that irrational tackle on timo that got him booked
defensivly aina is bad

Is Balogun injured? He hasn't been part of the team for a few weeks now

Ola Aina is a fine player. He's demonstrated quality for both club and country. He also contributed assist and penalty in AFCON qualifiers. Fine player he's.

We will always come for people wey no Dey watch ball and people wey Dey watch ball with sentiments

By that guy comment aina was the worst player for Fulham but only 1 player was rated ahead of him

When aina plays well do you ever acknowledge him ?

Ebuehi that you think is better do you even follow Twente game to watch him at least ?

Rohr is using ebuehi and aina but you guys are always pained anytime aina plays and criticize him with any little opportunity

You just criticize from your own angle

Onauchu don shame you but your pride no go gree you talk

Beer parlour analyst isonu

E wo wérè! So anytime I'm about to watch a game, I should come in here to inform you right? Didinri!

Aina was quite good attack-wise, but defensively, his lapses in concentration cost his team (I may pardon him a little for the 2nd goal though).

Ebuehi edges Aina in tactical discipline, you can see it on his movements and positioning. This is facts not emotive lamentations.

And yes, Onuachu would never be our go-to man is long as Rohr is the coach and he keeps up with this set-up.

Continue crying boy.

I'm done with him self.

Haven't you all heard??: Oshoala makes her 2nd UWCL Final

Assist Oshoala and FC Barca Fememi are in the Final of the Uefa Women's Champions League. 2nd time in the Final for our Golden Girl and GOAT of Africa women's football and we hope she wins it this time.

They beat PSG (Conquerors of Almighty Lyon) 3-2 on Aggregate.
2-1 today courtesy of Lieke Martens. Oshoala was a second half sub (as you know she just returned from a foot surgery which explains her second half sub-ins in both legs of the semis vs PSG especially after she was literally the hero of the Quarters vs Man City Ladies).

Congrats to our SuperZee. In line to become Africa's first UWCL winner. cool

Their opponents will be one of Chelsea LFC and FC Bayern Ladies (currently playing 1-1. Bayern leading 3-2 on Aggr).

7Andrew thank you for saying this out.
Please where is goldfish80,michael2,icon79,mujtahida,safarigirl and few others who I cannot remember their monikers.. .these are iconic analyser of the game with no sentiment..respect to thegoodjoe,TheSuperNerd,icon4s,chrisloog,jiday, BascoVanVelli and others for always giving us undiluted comprehensive report on the performance of our players.

I think it is better to come out openly just like my good friend forgiveness who is ready to pour it out irrespective of criticisms ditto Kokmne who believe so much in his Nigerian British born players,..Chriskel is a known great admirer of Senegal and Cote'd Voire team and your humble self who is an apology of Spanish league.

I know TheSuperNerd want to hear my view cos I remember when he said Oga Kog must comment on Aina and these are the reasons I always voice my mind out.How on earth will someone always find fault in a player just cos you love the other player which is acceptable...those accusing forgiveness of +++++are worse than him but they cannot come out for fear of verbal onslaughts from members here.

I don't want to compare Ebuehi and Aina but I need to dig out some facts.

Aina statistics in the last eight matches this season

**Chelsea==6.52
*Arsenal==6.39
Wolves==6.85
Leeds==5.94
**Man city=6.09
**Liverpool =6.71
**Tottenham =7.02
Crystal palace =6.58

**represent strong team and he had above 6.5 against three strong epl team.

Highest rating=7.02
Lowest rating=5.94

Aina as Centre back..played 14 matches=6.53
Aina as Right back.. played 10 matches=6.82
Aina as Left back..played 6 matches=6.66

He has scored two goals with one assist and won epl best goal of the month award which stand a chance for best goal of the season.

But funny enough here some just want to run the player down just for a love for another player...Good criticism is acceptable but not myopic one with total hatred.

I have said it based on last two super eagles matches I will pick Ebuehi over Aina but Ebuehi far better,not acceptable to me.

Though a faceless forum but some built this thread to what it is today based on good analysis of the game that made a lot to peep here to get fact.Please let us always be factual and our criticism should tell us that we are a great watcher of the game just like thegoodjoe.

Special shout out to smartmith and pogbae for continuing with what this thread stand for.I enjoy you guys.

Egbon...

Trust you are good. Well, thanks for bringing me into this discussion.

Firstly, I will say Rohr has really done well in giving us a team with squad depth.
Almost every Position in that team now is competitive. Until recently, the last time we had a "real" Right back was Chidi Odiah. We had always played make-shift RBs. Likes of Ambrose, Balogun, Omeruo, and Shehu have taken turns to fill up that Position in the more recent past. But today Ebuehi and Aina have emerged. Two awesome modern RBs in my opinion. For me, not much to separate between them, however, Aina's versatility, being able to fit in into the LB Position is a plus for him. Like I will always mention, in the modern day games, players that are more versatile will always have the upper hand in making squads for tournaments.

Algeria wan run us a similar street to what Morocco dem run Senegal on Isa Diop of WestHam. But it is already too late, I guess
I think his links to Algeria is pretty small, maybe his grandparents because I believe his mom was born in France. Nevertheless Rohr should try and cap him in our next few games
