which crime?....if you dare steal or commit any crime in the East you will be burnt alive....I have seen it with my eyes....the police never fought crime in the East, they where only making money there....I was posted to the East since 2017 and I have been working there since
Their main reason for seeking redeployment to the East was to make money through extortion which is not possible in the North, a police tenant of mine who was deployed to the East for six months came back with one Sienna bus and bought lands in choice areas in town, the easterners has woken up and the hunter is now the hunted, such is life.

We can not practice your fraudulent 1999 constitution as democracy, madafaka!

Well the American constitution once did not allow blacks, native Americans and Asians to have citizenship

That is no longer the case thanks to people who were ready to do the hard work of pushing back against a corrupt and racist establishment to change things

But you want someone to come and so do every thing for you.

report whatsoever rubbish u like but take it from me
South East can never go the way of North.. time for rain will be short and the normal sky will take place.
2015 when I was in school in an area of South East a fight erupted between the school management and the host community. it was announced that everybody should go home, I told my lodgemates that I knew this state and I'm very sure this fight won't exceed today. out of 18 rooms I was the only one inside the compound bc my home is kind of far coupled with lack of money. behold that night everything was resolved and the community became calm.
If u are expecting South East to become a desert, abeg wake up and start ur business bc it not going to happen

Well, if the protests for secession succeeds in making our leaders to sit up and amend unfavorable aspects of the law, then it is a win win. Someone has to do some about the plight of the common man. If you believe in dialogue and the use of legislature to change the affairs of the corntree, then fine. You can just start your own movement towards that effect and stop antagonising others who have found a means to achieving peace and development for himself and others.

If you were around the time the massive agitations for equal rights for blacks started in the US and the inconveniences as a result, I believe you would have antagonised them and asked that status quo remains because of the little comforts you enjoy.

So me and other people that have business that deals with cash don't need police sad

All we are saying is that we don't need numerous road blocks in Alaigbo because we are not at war. Those numerous road blocks should be mounted in the North East.

And I never said that we don't need the police in the East, all we are saying is stop extorting money from the poor masses.

And if I may ask, do you really think that the way the police and military have been harassing, killing the Igbo people is good?

These Fulanis will come and kill, maim and destroy all what our farmers has laboured for only to be shielded by the same military and police.

How would you reacted if all that you have worked and laboured for just get destroyed by some hoodlums? And the police that was supposed to carry out justice for you are then the ones that are protecting the same hoodlums

If your President was to tackle the insecurities and injustice around the country, there wouldn't be anything like the UGM.

We have had enough and we say Enough is enough

So no Igbo man is a criminal or no1 commits crimes in Igbo land or what?

The police is to maintain law and order bt the security forces are abusing their authorities and causing the people to fight the system.

Our security agencies don’t know to enforce law and order in a state or community u must also follow the law and order not abuse it.

They have been extorting the poor masses for a very long time and we say enough is enough.

No need for the numerous road blocks in the East because we are not at war.

Those numerous road blocks should be in the North East and not in Alaigbo.

The police and military have been killing us and we can't take it anymore. Justice should be for everyone.

UGM came about because of the Injustice of this government.

Enough is enough.

Maybe it's till when they face your door mouth with GPMG that your senses will realize its not funny anymore.

The grievances of the UGM ain't for the poor Igbo masses but instead for the numerous road blocks and injustice that has been going on in the East for so long.

Tell your government that we are not at war in East. Those numerous road blocks should be in the North East.

All we say is enough of the killings, extortions and shielding of the Fulanis herdsmen.

Democracy is not by big gesture but by hours upon hours of ploddingthankless work
There is a theory in developmental communications. It has to do with learning from the mistakes and successes of other developed countries to fast track development. But as a shithole we lack that ability for critical thinking to use available methods that have been tested and proven. Democracy has gone beyond this your argument of using hours upon hours of ploddingthankless work. Countries have spent hours and hours of work and have realised the simplest ways of achieving results without wastage of time, resources and people. They have told us that without peace, justice and fairness, democracy can never work. They have told us that tyranny can never succeed. they have said power truly belongs to the people. They have said peaceful protests must be allowed, if not anarchy would come. They have said for democracy to strive, the people must at all time have a choice in any union, and the referendum and self determination must be allowed. They have said corruption must be killed or it will kill the people. They equally said, quality education must be available for all. There must be freedom of speech, life, association, e.t.c. You don't expect democracy to work in this country when all known tenets of democracy are abused by those who ought to uphold it.

Unfortunately this is the only language THEY understand, for long the major roads and highways in the East have been hot spots for all forms of extortion, harassments and even killings of our people by those trigger-happy demagogues in uniforms, I nearly lost an uncle of mine to those bastards two years ago when be refused to play ball to their extortion demands while traveling to the village, the useless Aboki soldier actually cocked his rifle and threatened to shoot my uncle, you can imagine the terror we experienced that day as we feared the worst ... now they will think twice before acting anyhow or even as much as use the East as their ticket meal to retirement benefits.

God bless ESN
God bless Alaigbo
RIP commander Ikonso

I experienced same at onitsha when I was younger.. The mobile police man cocked his gun and threatened to shoot my uncle... It's a very terrifying moment and I was 12 years old then.
