And the same day, they were added unto them about 3000 souls.
It is indeed amazing to witness the Acts of the Apostles of the Bible days, being replayed in our generation.
The multitudes of souls that trooped out before the presence of the Almighty God to surrender their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ were too numerous to be numbered in view of the time frame.
We return all glory to God and pray that these souls shall be established in Jesus Christ name.

It is not about the number of heads ; it is about those that having sobber hearts

I believe it is a good thing for people to do things, like this, that are going toward GOD and not away from Him (after all - they could have been anywhere else doing other things).

However, (and I speak humbly), let us remember that no man can by himself/herself effectuate the salvation of another human being, because only GOD Himself chooses and makes a person spiritually clean before Him and thus truly born again / born of the Holy Spirit.

"For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." - Ezekiel 36:24-26 - Emphasis on "I", that means GOD does all these things.

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." - John 1:12-13

The faith of the Lord JESUS CHRIST we receive from GOD by His grace and mercy comes from hearing the word of GOD - "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." - Romans 10:17... "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." - Hebrews 4:12

There are many parts of Holy Scripture that let us know that we cannot rise up and "accept" the CHRIST in a soul saving way (because we are spiritually dead - "even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved" - Ephesians 2:5, also Ephesians 2:1, Ezekiel 37:1-11). It is indeed by GOD's grace, and not any work that we do - "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." - Ephesians 2:8-9

GOD chooses according to His perfect will, and He sanctifies - The Holy Spirit coming to live in His chosen / elect forever - sealed!
"For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” - Romans 8:15 - received from GOD Himself.
"And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." - Ephesians 4:30

So, we should certainly make confession of the Lord JESUS CHRIST, and do good works, and pray without ceasing - all the while hoping in GOD and His tender mercies, but remember that only GOD can save and He confirms with each of His own!

Again, GOD chooses us, we do not choose ourselves or others -

"What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not! For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.” So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy." - Romans 9:14-16

What the Bible says we should do is what the Lords chosen is doing.

Mr man, the people that God has saved from this crowd has been saved already. You should be appreciating for now, it is the holy spirit that would follow them up. Even though we as brothers and sisters would do what we can to follow some of them up as well. God is the one that would establish them.

Stop being a pessimistic. What you should have posted is to praise God for the number of souls that gave their lives to Jesus and not to try to sound like someone trying to claim he has arrived. Being born again is deep. It's not a finished work of a days job. It is a long journey for those that gave their lives to Jesus. Be happy when you hear of those that gave their lives to Jesus and not being selfish, after all you are not the one doing the work. There are some that died this morning in their sins without having the opportunity to do what those multitude did yesterday.
