Let's talk about the Moon. by TheSourcerer: 4:51pm On May 02, 2021
Nobody talks about the Moon!!
The moon has been mysterious for a while now until recently we found out that the moon was formed during the heavy bombardment leaving fragments of the each to gather and form till it be came a satilite and had its orbit around the Earth , we know this because other planets moons have formed right before our very eyes. So yeah the moon is the death part of the Earth ,we can still see the craters on it .

Yeah back to the question , what was your superstitious belief om how the moon got there

Some believed the Sun was God and the moon the evil brother

Fallacy

According to the giant impact theory, There was a body roughly the size of Mars or smaller – half the diameter of Earth. It smashed into the developing Earth 4.5 billion years ago. This collision produced enough heat to create magma oceans and ejected a lot of debris into orbit around the Earth, which subsequently coalesced into the Moon.

Ta for this. And there are many other "according tos" such that believing any of them is no different to believing God done it in six days and rested on the seventh or Obatala said moon be and moon became.

We have other moons like jupiter moons that were created through same process. Earth's moon creation isn't different from others

I do not think there is agreement on how moons are created so claiming one trumps any other is more akin to claiming a god belief is the only valid god belief.

After the sun spun to light, the planets of the solar system began to form. But it took another hundred million years for Earth's moon to spring into existence. There are three theories as to how our planet's satellite could have been created: the giant impact hypothesis, the co-formation theory and the capture theory.

That when the moon was created, one woman was pounding something and her reflection was caught by the moon and that's the black reflection we see on the moon.

Funny thing is that I was seeing her on the moon the grin grin grin cheesy

I prefer the capture theory. The moon may have been a dwarf planet captured by our gravity as it was passing by. The moon may have also been made by Aliens, or at least Zechariah Sitchin implied that the Anunaki may have put it there as an observation post.

If you have noticed, the moon only shows us one side of it's face? Why does it do that? What's on the far side of the moon?

No truth here. Just opinions.
Re: Let's talk about the Moon. by Vulcanheph(m): 10:03pm On May 02, 2021
Here's two facts about the moon that I find most intriguing.

1. The moon is positioned in such a way that an observer from Earth will see it as the same size as the sun despite the fact that the sun is 400 times bigger than the moon, the accuracy of the positioning is so accurate that it is believed to have been more than just a coincidence.

2. The size of the Earth's moon in relationship to the planet it revolves around is the biggest when compared to the moons of the planets in the solar system.
(If you don't understand this, I'm sorry but I don't know any better way to explain it)

There is one I just have one question about the moon that keep on raking my brain.

How come since American astronauts Neil armstrong and buzz Aldrin went to the moon in 1969 there has not been any other mission to the moon since then and neither has there been any known attempt to explore more of the moon, instead there are preparing for missions to Mars.

This might be true because these days, I have choosen to have an open mind.

You should watch the movie called "iron sky" and also research on the "hollow moon theory".

The hollow moon theory explains why the craters on the moon are all shallow.

I agree even though the scientific community might not validate it... It sure makes a lot of sense .
There's a supposed leaked secret interview of Neil Armstrong (first man to walk the moon) where he said that the moon "rang like a bell" when they landed on it and we all know that only hollow things make noise when hit.

I have a lot of theories about the moon and many of them are outrageous.

For some reason I strictly don't belive in aliens at least in humanoid/intelligent form out there that would be interested in a blue marble like planet in our galaxy smiley not to talk of the billions of endless galaxies we have smiley we are a one in a life time incident a quick boom if you may. we are the Aliens if anything.

permanent lol Ever since the Moon was created billions of years ago, it has been slowly moving away from the Earth at a rate of 3.8 centimeters (1.5 inches) every year. What does this mean?

Well, it means that during prehistoric times, the moon was a lot closer to the Earth as it is today. Scientists believe that the moon was as close as 2000–30000 kilometers to the Earth 4.5 billion years ago.

The moon will always slowly move away from the Earth due to how fast the Moon is revolving, and in about 15 billion years, the Moon will be far enough out to no longer be influenced by the Earth’s gravity, and will no longer move away but maintain a constant orbital distance.so sorta like this

The only reason I said permanently is because

These are just theories by some scientist
Not like I don't believe in them...I do but we are all know the final stage of the drafting will not happen in the next hundred million years...

Our next 7 generation will still be waiting for it to happen and will never experience it...

So for now...it's going to remain permanent cheesy

No. They smashed a space module on the moon and it reverberated as if it's hollow.

A scientist once said that there are two possibilities; Either we are alone in the universe or we are not alone and both possibilities are frightening.

There might not have been any physical proof that aliens exist but you can't tell me that with a universe so vast with plentiful galaxies, numerous solar systems and countless planets.... You cannot tell me that there isn't a possibility that intelligent life exists outside there.

Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 1:15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
1:16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 1:17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
1:18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
1:19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
