OkoNDOoBo:Sentiment aside if pdp fields a southerner would the north vote him over a Northerner or a tinubu that has been promising to ass lick them as reward, mind you this is the ruling party with fg power? If pdp then isn't going to field a southerner who are the northerns it would pick from? Is it not the same fulanis that control the northern politics across party lines? Pdp that doesn't have money to fund election is it them that would pick an unknown name without the finances to fund himself? At the end of the day i don't like the atiku, i am not igbo, i don't support pdp, I am only looking for an alternative to the crisis of this apc buhari government Even if 5million persons like me vote outside pdp/apc the north and mainstream vote is between these two parties So we are stucked with pdp/atiku because not only is buhari adminstration terrible because it lack ideas, the fact that apc is not an inclusive party setup for national diversity cohesion would continue to plague it and the nation |

bolaayenimo:You're deeply deceiving yourself. At this juncture Bukola would scornfully reject the so called southern affiliation to the North. By the way, Nigeria's geographical zonings are not divided along ethnic or religious line but demarcation which make up states, zones and regions which left many with no choice. Only in the south people think zonal demarcation should be made tribal! 1 Like |

bolaayenimo:That's not exactly true; if the PDP produces Adesina and the PDP bigwigs support him fully, there's no way APC can win. The only reason a Tinubu can win under such circumstances is because 90% of PDP cheiftains wouldn't support an Adesina even if he's their party flagbearer. They'd rather secretly support a Tinubu with hope of switching over when he wins. Reason why Nigeria will continue to be a shithole, cos our brand of politics and politicians only make it possible for filthy individuals to be president. 2 Likes |

good analysis. The first thing PDP considers first is money, that is a candidate that can fund his election very well and then popularity of the candidate. Every other thing is secondary Mikehot: |

OkoNDOoBo:It's politics, it's done even in USA they evade defining lines and act when in government Atiku can't come out because it would mark him out as anti north to the north that has chosen crime to be their way of life (attack on crime in attack of north remember) Atiku would later need their support also remember that The thing is when he was vice president we know he has been a moderate man, championing diversity, if you think that is not enough to know his personality then look at pantami whose extremist works has been coming out even in his position as minister He has more dealing in south than he has in north, he is cerebral, you can't hide your true self just like buhari in 2014 we all knew he was a Terrorist, he openly supported extremists, he never had anything to do with anyother part of the country until they started pushing him to campaign Atiku has openly called for restructuring of this country, i don't think you need more to know it takes your political career to make such statement |

Minemrys:My brother i know you dey vex but it's the reality i am telling you so. We that say north is the problem of this country know why, you see all the things buhari have done if a southerner tries half there would be protest in the various places up north Then their representatives in national assembly would begin working on impeachment, ( mind you Northerners would be head of the national assembly since south is president) They would secure the support of some Yoruba Muslims as usual then impeach the president E be like film just like the numerous films north have done before |

Mikehot: the narratives of north voting north over south is stale and boring. It doesnt reflect with the reality, obj, abiola Gej have beaten northerners in their own domain. Nigeria politics is about political machinery and interest. If not for politcal machinery yardua, jonathan inheritted from pdp, they cant beat buhari, atiku, ribadu in election. PDP lost in 2015 because they swim against the tide,(there was clamour for power to return to north after south did 13yrs with obj and Gej presidency) it made it easier for apc to demolish political machinery. and they beat the incumbent in 2015. Today Apc political machinery is still formidable and even expanding their territories with the recent gale of defection that hit PDP. Umahi , dogara e.t.c. Today there is clamour for power to return to south after buhari 8yrs but pdp is about to swim against the tide again by zoning to north Any southerner that APC presents in 2023 will occupy aso rock except pdp break the merger of ACN+CPC. 2 Likes |

obailala:When you say big wings hope you know that whoever pdp fields would still get the support of ss/se (so the so called big wigs don't do shlt) In the west Yoruba Christians would majorly go to pdp while Yoruba Christians loyalty lie with apc (infact who are the pdp big wigs) In the middle belt, votes are always splitting but the people use votes to make political statement when need be (e.g still voting Ortom after he decamped because of fulani herdsmen), alot of votes would go to pdp because of Fulani terrorists (so called big wigs don't decide that) In the north they vote based on sentiment, they would not want to see a Christian rule over them because of their Islamic believe (big wigs don't have a say on that) Bigs wigs are useless where they people want certain direction |

The discussion for southerners should be restructuring.....even if a southerner holds power it will only be 4/8 years of prosperity after which it's another 8 years of pain, suffering and madness from incompetent northern rule..... restructuring is possible if all governors from the south and some north central states come together and call for it..... |

Coronabirus: He grew from being a governor to being a senate president of the nation and not just for Kwara state. As a senate president he performed very well without fear. He didn't decide to divert money to kwara state and that's why his people are angry. He was able to stand against the presidential decisions when it doesn't favour the country and he always stood his ground unlike what we see today where a whole senate president is like a puppet to the presidency without a voice. |

OkoNDOoBo:I laugh, politics have really left you Can you first tell me why the Terrorists war in the north is currently on going and never ending? Can you also figure out why the people in north are not talking? Since 2014 buhari has introduced another level of politics different from the abiola days you know |

Mikehot: Lol....beer parlor political analyst. Yoruba's hardly vote based off religious sentiments....femi adeshina is a decon in Foursquare gospel who was and is a hardline supporter of buhari, I can name 3 top pastors in the south west that campaigned for buhari in 2015...and votes don't win elections in nigeria...under aged voting, rigging, all out election fraud and kangaroo fulani courts determine election results, it's one of the reasons pantami is soo particular about NIN registration; more under aged kids getting their NIN, more Niger republicans and chadians getting their NIN.....2023 you'd be told that NIN can be used to get voters card. 1 Like |

Lumig: You deserve no response because you a slowpoke. Igbos will always be centuries ahead of you people in all ramifications. What igbos saw 50 years ago and fought war for is what you are wailing about today. Igbos also warned about Buhari, you people called us wailers, but today who is wailing in Nigeria? They have come again to receive you with 2023 useless election but only what your stupid useless zoo peanut butter filled rotten brain we see is that pdp never field any Igbo, keep having sleepless night on your bile and hatred filled heart against igbos until the zoo sinks without any political entity to rescue it. For your information, Biafra is not sinking with the zoo, we are matching forward |
