The governor is trying to practice the “no negotiation with terrorist laws tactics” but what he fails to understand is that he is practicing it on a failed foundation, Nigerian didn’t start out like that so why does he now want to use the life of innocent student as a foundation.

He should be investigated thoroughly.

Is only in Nigeria that we hear of such kind of things occurring and yet the government are weak about taking proactive steps.

The society is saturated with criminals and criminalities. The effect of which is Ubiquitous. While paying ransom in itself is not tenable, the thought of one's child (ren) in the custody of these nefarious beings is saddening.

In a situation where criminals (even with the knowledge of a suppose elite sheik) dish out orders without Government being proactive would trigger a conspiracy of if, the government or some of its official are not part of this organised crime.

My opinion, even though it might not be valid would be; The said Sheik should be interrogated in order to know what the Republic did to his partners in crime to have deserved these illogic acts.
