The Rector is answerable to the governing council as stipulated in the Federal Polytechnic Act..... Before any recruitment is done in any school that has a governing council, The Rector Must have the approval of the Governing council... The Governing Council has the Constitutional powers as stipulated in the Polytechnic Act to remove the Rector if found guilty of any misappropriation.... EVEN ON THIS FORUM, SOME TIME BACK IT MADE NEWS THAT A SECURITY MAN IN A BANK WAS UPGRADED TO A TELLER OR SOMETHING AT THE SAME BANK WHEN HE WROTE AN EXAM AND PASSED AND IT WAS FOUND OUT ALL ALONG, HE WAS QUALIFIED.

NARICT Zaria, secure waiver to commence recruitment.

Federal Character Commission will recruit this year as contain in their last board meeting.

National Assembly Service Commission to also go ahead with recruitment.

NSIA awaiting certificate of complianc from FCC for issuance of letters (Excluding GAP).

DPR will commence a fresh recruitment exercise towards the year end.

Someome research institute under Ministry of Water and Ministry of Agric have been given go ahead for recruitment by FCC likewise some Medical Centres and Teaching Hospitals..

I couldn't get information on NIMASA and NCDMB for naw. I only knew of a list being forwarded by Presidency to NIMASA early December for the employment of few people, which they are yet to comply with..

i dont think anything happened in tetfund, the man that said he got apl i partially dont believe i am sorry to say, a staff that works closely to es said it was December last year they replaced 10 people.
