Have you submitted your visa application?

If no, attach the ielts certificate to other documents intended for the category of client information.

If yes, send the ielts certificate via webform and/or email to IRCC.

It will end in praise.

I have submitted my application.
I don’t have IELTS certificate, how can I get that?
I just saw my results online now

If there's sufficient amount in the second account, you can also submit it, but I'm guessing that's not the case so a letter of sponsorship stating the funds in the MBS provided is solely for your Canadian education and maybe living expenses.
Thank you.

If the bank account created for your university studies purpose is funded sufficiently, and if it bears your name, then explain very well in your SOP. The VOs will understand.

If it bears your father's name, explain too.

The most important thing is that the bank account you speak of has sufficient fund in it, i.e., tuition, living expenses and other unavoidable expenditures.

While I think it's impressive what your dad has done, it won't hurt your application if you submit that MBS and your father's personal account MBS, since you have stated that he is your sponsor.

Will do thank you!
It's even GTBank so we should be able to get it online easily.

They usually have it mailed to the address you provided when registering. I got mine like three days after I saw my results on line. I did CBT sha and I live in Lagos so I don't know if that affected the processing time.

Here is the thing.

What the VOs are thinking most time is if you will truly have access to the fund you claim will be available to you.

While you may be telling the truth in your application, the VOs have been advised to use their own discretion. Hence, they may redflag you for something they suspect to be falsehood, even if it is not falsehood.

This is caused by VOs' past experiences with many Naija applications.

So always remember to pray. With God, nothing is impossible.

I should add that

1. VOs have rules they follow. Whether these rules make sense to other people or not does not matter. Our own is to follow these rules too.

2. If your sponsor has dependents, then it is the job of the VO to examine the account statement and connect it with the socioeconomic circumstances of your sponsor. If the VO thinks the sponsor cannot/should not make such fund available to you, that can lead to a refusal.

From the last sentence, it only makes sense for the VO to consider the other dependents apart from the applicant. That brings me to my question: I (the applicant) have a brother who's still in school currently doing his PhD, though he's on scholarship.

When filling the family information form, there's a section where they ask me the details of my siblings, including their occupation. can I put an arbitrary occupation for my elder brother so that VO knows that my father sponsoring me bears no financial responsibility towards the education of any other of his children apart from me.

Or can my sponsor (who's my father) explain to the VO is his letter of sponsorship that he doesn't bear any financial responsibility towards his son (my elder brother) still in school (since he's on scholarship) and can fund my studies without any hindrance.

You can use both of them, but sometimes, sponsorships by in-laws are vetted more and a bit suspicious because they are not the closest relatives to one.

If both of them are indeed willing to sponsor you, you may have to go the extra mile in legally binding this agreement, by notarizing, etc.

I plan to do the notarise affidavit of sponsorship

Where do you live? Look it up online where you can get your certificate. Your certificate can only be found in the office associated with your exam location.

Do not lie to the VO

The VO will have records of your brother who is taking PhD

Tell the truth. Fill the truth in the blank. It's a scholarship for your brother anyway.

Focus the story on yourself instead.

(Yeah, your dad can do that. He can let the VO know the number of dependents he has... Your PhD brother is not a dependent, as he is independent.)

You should find out the kind of funding that your brother has. Is he being funded as a research assistant or graduate assistant? I think that he can use either of them as his source of income. So no need for you to conceal the information. State that he works as a research assistant or graduate assistant as the case may be.

Please avoid telling lies or using agents you don't know very well while processing your study permit... it has ended in tears for many people oh

Its like they are dashing 5 years ban upandan

Its best you use a dollar card even if its one of those online ones like barter or flutterwave them to make your payment.

Dont put your application in the hands of someone that has nothing to lose oh... abeg don't allow someone's stupidity to scatter your life plan. 5 years ban no be joke

Also while Canada seems like the land of honey please don't even attempt to go to school if your sole purpose is to just use school to move

SCHOOL is tough.. i just did one semester ehnn and mehn its not child's play but its an amazing experience. The time difference alone for online study almost made me quit, I was usually asking myself..who sent me message oh .. but the growth kai.. amazing

also remember you can finish school in Canada now and get a great job in another country. Keep your mind and options open

Wishing everyone success in their endeavours.

Please assist.

I am in Canada and want to apply for study permit for my 3 children (10, 8 and 7).

I do not have a letter of acceptance for them as the school board needs to see them first. My children are still in Nigeria.

Please advise. What do I do?

You dont necessarily need letter of acceptance before you can apply for them. Some people use their school's admission letter, while I was advised to write "to be determined" which worked for me. My child's counterfoil dropped today, its exactly like mine...student visa

Good morning house!
I guess the almighty eligibility review has started for my application(submitted 17th April).

Jehovah God, unto your hands I commit my application, it's filled with so many errors and apparently imperfect but I trust you to perfect it all for me and all the PPR hopefuls in this thread, Amen.

IRCC be hoarding PPRs and giving applicants high BP and restlessness, It's not easy to maintain focus but we must, for our sanity. Happy new week people!

Men.....I have been waiting for PPR since 3 weeks after medical updated to pass

@spectro.

I am amazed at your recent reviews. God bless you.

I have recently recieved a visa refusal from IRCC base on personal asset and financial status. I am a self sponsor. I had a balance of 17m and inflow of 50m over 6months.

Now I am scared about the self sponsorship so I intend using my mom to do a deed of assignment for me for one of her property which I will sell and use as my source of income. But the thing is the money would come as a lump sum in my account. Please advise me on this

Wow! How long did their application process take before you received the visa approval today?
Are you currently in Canada? or you applied from Nigeria.
I would love to apply for my children's study permit as soon as I receive mine by the grace of God.
But I am worried that they might refuse it or worse cancel one's study permit.

Do you mind if I email you directly for more info?

Imagine! even with NSE route it took them this long to approve the visa.
God will break protocols for those of us that did not submit our application through NSE to get our visa approved quicker.

50 million over 6 months?

If you've got a very big business, I understand that is achievable.

But if this has to do with lump sums along the line, it could be the reason for your refusal.

Yeah, the deed of assignment works (Get a legally approved deed of gift document). Just make sure you explain very well in your SOP. Make sure you present all the necessary documents.

It will end in praise.

(NB: Get your GCMS note first, to understand what the previous VO felt was not right with your application)

You can add your BSc certificate to your application.

You can use your home address.

Remember this home address will also be reflected in your IMM Family form (for some members of your family who reside there), so it's safe to use it.

Hi everyone, I want to submit study permit application for my sister. I heard that applicants from Nigeria can apply through NSE but I want to use the regular route because I cannot wait for six months to get mybankstatement due to time constraint. I just want to confirm if one can still apply through the regular route or if it is mandatory to apply through NSE. Thank you.
