thanks for all the good y’all doing here.

Please quick one, my school has an estimate of 13400-17000 as yearly living expenses, however IRCC’s estimate is 10000, which one should I quote in my SOP or can I avoid quoting at all

You should quote "Room and Board" as 10,000CAD.

While "Others" as 3,000CAD.

SonofEguasa:
The pre-assessment notes which is on page one is blank

Check the last two pages of the GCMS notes if the visa officer has made any comment as per the "Recommend Interview". If there is no concern stated on the file, you might want to send a CSE to address the current immigration assessment of the Program Case Analyst.

Please house,
When can I book for biometric....... I seem not to understand...I plan to submit my application by 13th May,
Thank you

You will have to first submit your application.
After which, a Biometrics Collection Letter would be sent to your GC profile?
It is with this BCL you will use to book online for your biometrics..
Once an appointment date is confirmed, you proceed to the nearest VFS center for capturing.

My pre assessment note was blank. Hope is nothing?

You should complain about the current eligibility assessment through a CSE via webform. This can also trigger your file to progress and be attended to.

TundeTheHunter:

The main difference between the regular study permit application and an NSE application is that NSE has some extra requirements: MyBankStatement & IELTS

If the VO thinks you could qualify for NSE because you meet some of the requirements, they might send you the NSE request. In my case, I submitted an IELTS test report form along with my normal study permit application (but without MBS). And because of this, I got was sent the NSE request.

However, an applicant who fulfilled all the NSE requirements by submitting MyBankStatement and IELTS from the beginning would not receive the NSE request. In this case, IRCC would start processing this application as an NSE application from the outset.

PS: NSE is an expedited processing route for study permit applications of Nigerians. It does not give applicants a better chance of being granted visas. It only promises faster processing than the regular route.
Love this. Thanks

A lot of universities do not require IELTS for Masters. you should check out https://www.universitystudy.ca/search-programs/ for Unis that offer your proposed program.
Depending on what you mean by affordable but schools outside of Ontario are usually more affordable.

Please sir @frankrobbn1, I sent an email request. I need assistance with vetting my SOP before I submit and would gladly appreciate your assistance, thank you!

Frankrobbn1:

Over the course of my five (5) years experience in handling complex immigration cases, I have seen on several occurrences, applications being refused by the visa officer after requesting and passing a medical examination. There is no blue print that works for Canada immigration processes and the format is not properly elucidated. A visa officer has absolute right to deny an immigration application if he/she is not satisfied that the applicant is a genuine student. I can tell you free from the wisdom of my experiences that situations like this often occurs when an immigration officer is not able to complete their assessment on a file before transferring the work load to another visa officer for finalization. The new visa officer who then took up the application from where his colleague stopped will review the supporting documents/comments and may have some reservations thus unavoidably leading to refusal. I have seen this happen on several GCMS notes, albeit it's not common. Above all, should you've received a medical request, your application success is 95% close to approval. Keep the faith alive.

I think you can submit without paying your tuition fees. It’s recommended but not necessary. I’m in the same position as well. I guess there just needs to be proof that the money is available to you. You shouldn’t be too bothered in my opinion. Lowkey it’s out of your control.
