You may still be able to lock it. Try it.

I don't see how it stops you.

I've logged onto the browser

What I meant was that, activating find device then, the phone keeps on rebooting itself and was advised to disable it to prevent such occurrence

And you didn't activate the Google Find Me/Device as an alternative then too?
I've got no other idea but police o (if you have faith).

Hi guys
On my redmi 9c, whenever I am playing music on it with my earpiece plugged, it plays well but immediately I lock the screen to put the phone in my pocket or beside me the music cracks for sometime and then stops playing. As soon as I press the power button to unlock the screen again, it starts playing well.
I love using VLC to play music but I have tried the music bloatware app, es file explorer music player, file manger among others but it occur for all the apps. I have restarted several times and tried force restarting too. It is still the same.
I also tried using different earpiece and the same issue keeps happening.
The music plays well when the earpiece is not plugged(using speaker).
Please what can I do to solve this issue because music keeps me going everyday.

If earpiece isn't plugged and phone is locked, does it play well or issue persists?

It plays well when the earpiece isn't plugged and phone is locked but as soon as the earpiece is plugged and the device is locked, it starts cracking and stops like after five seconds.

It's still a good buy. Just make sure the phone has the following 5g bands: band 3, 7, 20 & 28.
I plan buying a new phone this year cos my old Huawei P8 is acting funny and I just don't want to buy a 4g device this year.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 lite 5g is top of my list but, I fear the cost of the phone will exceed my budget and cross the 150k range due to it's huge Snapdragon 780G processor.

Can you pls sell your p8 to me I need the screen, pls help brother.

Turn off miui battery saver or lock the music app to memory.

I'm suspecting battery optimization here.

I've just bleeped up this morning. I received a WhatsApp message from a foreign number saying my lost Mi9T is currently online. The person produced a link to check its present location, but I was skeptical on using it as the one I currently use from Mi still says my phone hasn't been online for about 3 months now, however, I did notice the battery level had dropped to 20% from 99%.

I begrudgingly used the link after making some searches online to confirm its authenticity.

Suffix to say my mi account on the lost phone has been signed out and I can no longer track its location grin grin

This has been a very funny experience and I should have followed my instincts.

I guess I was too excited to know where my phone is and I let my emotions override logic.

PS: The link he provided mimics the original link (us.i.mi.com), and I fully grasped the extent of the damage after I logged out and it went straight to a URL from apple which I suspect is fake (applied.apple.com).

Let's be careful out there.

My sister, I'm feeling like a fool this morning. I didn't do proper due diligence. Guess I've missed my phone too much.

I've changed my mi account password and other passwords on my bank apps still on the phone.

It probably will be impossible for the police to track the phone now.
