Hello mamas in the house. So I'm about to start my ivf process with nordica, done all tests.

I was told i will have to do sonohysteroscopy, to scan my uterus for any abnormalities. Now they said they can find something there (most likely fibroid), and this can be a potential threat, even after i conceive.

So they said i have to do hysteroscopy to check properly and take out what's there, before i can begin the ivf process proper.

Someone is telling me that it's just a way for them to milk me, I'm a bit confused and worried. The hysteroscopy is going to cost about 300k +

Pls who has been in this situation? How did you go about it � pls

me that Lily said my enemy has cervical adhesion, and the little fibroid i had, has distorted my cervical plate or so through using an ultrasound. Hsg said my tubes were patent nothing HSG SAW. Imagine?
I had to go to two different ultrasound center and they said the fibroid was measuring 0.7cm the other said 0.6 cm, and it is just too small to be reported and that it outside my womb or so. They also said ultrasound cant detect adhesion. I remember going back there and the doc advising me that if they don't do the hysteroscopy, my cervix is closed and they wont see where to retrieve and transfer my egg. I was already intending ooo, my husband kept on saying he won't allow me to do the process. I wanted to dodge and do it, untill my husband sperm result came out from Lily and they said their husband sperm count is 2million, this is a man that has 53 million sperm count always. They said Morphology is 0. My husband was so pissed, that was how i jejely ran. Now i am few months gone after my transfer from another hospital. Infact i remember taking all my test results to this other hospital, Doc even suggested IUI insted of IVF, but i insisted that i will go for IVF, i told about what they said in LIly hospital, he just laughed and said ultrasound cant pick adhesion and if my hsg that i did recently is saying no adhesion and patent tubes, then they don't know what they are saying. He check my cervix and said my cervix is good. Just taking out time to write this long epistle to encourage you , and give you hope. Most of this hospitals just want someone to spend money

If u can modify that post it will help a lot since d intent is not to cause any harm n like u said its the way u felt that day. I later read where u explained what u meant by insensitive etc. Sis best is just modify or delete since that day has passed and you are now seeing it in a different light. A lot of us already quoted you but it will still be nice you take it out cos anyone who reads it will have a wrong impression about u and even respond like I did and like u said, u may not hav meant any harm. We shd rejoice with one another and be willing to help others even though we are not there yet. Even u can answer her question based on what u kno or have read from others. If everyone who achieves pregnancy moves to pregnancy thread or everyone who gives birth leaves ivf thread who will guide others and answer their questions? Some people feel more comfortable with a particular thread n people they are used to hence people like us even delivery we pin here from ivf. We will all get there very soon with our baby/babies its just a matter of time so let's be calming down o. I kno its not easy but support groups like this helps a lot. One love Sis.

Started taking pineapple core today and daily avocado#banana smoothies.
Any support ideas during this 2weeks wait?

My twins were day 2 transfer because Dr Emeka hasn't started day 5 then. Its the grade of embies transferred that is the koko and from u description ur Day 3 embies are very good to go. Have faith Sis, all the best

Hi.Perhaps you have hyperemesis gravidarum which is just a fancy name for excess vomiting.

-Ild suggest chew ginger as it might give a bit of relief and snack on plain food like toasted bread and crackers.
-Water might have a certain smell but force yourself to drink it.
Dehydration causes ketones so giving you IV drip when your body can’t take anything by mouth is for your own good.
-My Gp prescribed promethazine for anti sickness but injection form as was vomiting the tablet and it helped so ask your doctor.
Lastly My Tsh was hyper and through the roof so you might want to have yours checked too.

There are old wive tales that most people who suffer from excessive vomiting are carrying multiples but it isn’t exactly proven though.In my case it was true and my beautiful girls after years of trying(God rest their souls)were born.

The advice above are not medical but things i did that helped.Just power on and it will soon be over.
Your baby(ies) will soon come soon and this will all be over so hang in there.

5 follicle extracted, 1 empty ,2 not matured ,2 pre mature....1 out of the not matured, matured...sperm injected...fertilization didnt occur...Day 5 and no changes in all the egg...what went wrong?Any idea of what I can do to conceive naturally....there isnt any fund to do a repeat .....my treatment was undergone at olive branch hospital....plus AMH 0.96 and 32years

My experience with others we cycled together.
I had only 7follicles, 2empty, 3 not matured and only 2 fertilised.
I didn't take any supplements because of history with complex ovarian cyst and fibroids as l heard it make them grow.
What have learnt from other people we cycled together that got matured eggs and many follicles was that they were on supplements for 3months before embarking on the journey. Both husband and wife were taking COQ-10, Dhea,Vit A, Vit E, Zinc and Vit C.
Maybe you can use these supplements and try naturally inbetween.
God will surely answer our prayers and come through for all of us.

I wouldn’t say they lied rather sometimes the body works a little different than what medical science knows that’s why procedures like IVF are not 100% successful even with the best hospital/consultant.
