There is nothing unbelievable about this it's just standard insurgent warfare. Same thing in Sinai, southern Somalia, Pakistan, Sudan, Afganistan, and the middle east despite intervention from the worlds most powerful militaries for the past 3 dacades. Ha ha . Very young, inexperienced people on Nairaland. So this is a big thing to you?. It is not. It is simple carelessness from the company commander and the NA should start wielding the big stick. Apparently, with good scouting work and a network of watchers you can predict if an attack would be coming but Apparently they did not do this in this case.

Why would they when most of them came through politicians...after participating/running and passing the initial test to be pick and finally made it, you would hear that Governor have brought list for their own state and all those who original participated and passed the test would be withdrawn and replaced with the politician list people...all these are boys sitting down in their villages doing nothing and have no interest of joining the army but cos of no work had to pick the work...!!
