Follow the student checklist to avoid stories that touch, if you do not have a letter of presence, request for one from your University, and if your course can be done online- thread carefully because some people get rejection due to this after the long-awaited interview.

Stiflersammy:
Is it true we don't need letter of presence to enter Germany again?
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by OdogwuEkeke(m): 11:57am On May 10, 2021
I wish everyone going for the interview all the best wink

Nna eh do not forget to cut soap here.

We need an updated interview transcript, I feel students would be drilled with harder questions.

Abeg share with us. cool

Thanks in Advance.

The admission deadline to some schools outside Germany closes May 30.

Do your research.

This is quite absurd.

You ask your University for a letter of presence and they redirect you to the German website

Almost seems like their answer is NO

What course are you going for?

Maybe your course of study can be done fully online.

As for me and my household, I will follow only what is on the German embassy student checklist.

There is no harm to be over-prepared.

Germans are very straightforward and they no dey hear sorry.

Personally, I no fit risk anything after this long wait, almost a year already.

Nna ehn I can't even imagine.

Certify your document at the German Consulate of your home country or High court jurisdiction around you
.
As opposed to some countries that require you authenticate your results at Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education at Abuja, Germany does not require I do this right?
Just certify my result at High court/consulate and I'm good to go?
can I do this in Lagos?
If yes, do we have a consulate in Lag?
Thanks

So why was it stated as one of the reasons for rejection recently?

I think it is best to hear from the next testimony or rejection so we can learn from them.

I saw the rejection letter. But it was not the reason for rejection.

The admission letter was old (2020/2021), the school didnt give a support document for visa, no enrolment cert. too

I believe this is the rejection reason you are referring to:

You also submitted a certificate from the University of Applied Sciences confirming that the winter semester 20/21 will only take place online. Entry to Germany is not required to participate online.

And from what is above, he submitted a confirmation from the school that semester will hold 100% online, so no reason to be physically present in Germany.
Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by OdogwuEkeke(m): 10:21am On May 11, 2021
Old?

My admission letter is 2020/2021 and I have a letter of presence.

I don't know about other Universities but for mine, you can download the certificate of enrollment after you have paid the semester fee on PORTA. Paying the semester fee keeps you enrolled as a student, even if you choose not to register for any course that semester.

Send mails to get the necessary documents, it's a big risk if you ask me.

Like you are not even paying for it, just ask. Table your situation in an email. Only if the course can be fully done online or the candidate did not enrol for the second semester.

I think I said this earlier if your course can be taken 100% online then you might have to rethink this whole journey.

You can try other countries, even if na Africa, do your findings.

Thanks @Bflexing

Funny enough this is stated on the updated checklist.

He probably did not check the new checklist as updated enrolment certificates were included are requirements for visas.

Hi guys! This platform has been informative and I thank everyone for the contributions,
I will want to ask these questions :

1. so I have submitted my notorized documents via uniassit by post and it's one week now and no reply from uniassist although, DHL has confirmed my documents delivered, is this normal and when I'm I supposed to get a reply from uniassist?

2. Two schools are from the 4 school online application will end this 31st of may, I am really scared if uniassist will send me my VPN before then, do you think I can still make it before then? cry cry
