New feature about to be launched. It's called bedtime mode. It's learns your charging habit and charges when you want it to. I think it will be similar to the one on iPhones.

Modified: oh wait I had it all wrong but it's a cool app nonetheless. It helps to reduce your screen addiction and can even help you sleep better without distractions. It's quite useful.

USERS COMPLAIN ABOUT BUGS IN MIUI 12 WHICH XIAOMI IS IN NO HURRY TO FIX

The latest analyst reports for the first quarter of 2021 show that Xiaomi is on the heels of Apple in terms of global smartphone market share. And if you believe one expert company, then the Chinese have already managed to overtake the Cupertino company in the European market. Naturally, we are talking exclusively about winning in pieces, because in terms of profit – Apple is beyond competition.

Naturally, such success is dictated not only by the low price of its products in the middle and budget segments. Xiaomi has thoroughly tightened up the build quality of devices, puts up-to-date hardware; and there is progress in the quality of cameras. The company is trying to fine-tune its own software as well, but it is still not very successful. MIUI is still full of bugs and issues and many are already aware that Xiaomi products should still be avoided at the start of sales because of the firmware issues

But this does not mean at all that with the arrival of updates, all bugs will be fixed. Errors are also present in “mature” devices that have not been on the market for a single year. So, for example, Xiaomi Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro users note the incorrect display of icons in dark mode, an involuntary appearance of a black screen during video playback, errors with displaying elements and icons in Always on Display mode, freezing during games, problems with animation on lock screen, glare and flickering on displays after unlocking, not closing notifications when restarting smartphones, as well as problems with sound and display of text in WhatsApp.

Poco M3 owners complain about flaws in the MIUI 12 software, who are faced with the inability to turn on the smartphone after the latest updates. The problem with random reboots on Redmi Note 9S and Redmi Note 9 Pro is still ongoing; problems with premature discharge and sound playback haunt some Redmi Note 8 owners. Alas, not everything is smooth with the software of Poco F2 Pro, Poco F1, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro; and even Redmi Note 5 / Note 5 Pro. You can find out more about the problems with the software and what devices they affected in this article.

The saddest thing is that Xiaomi knows about many problems with the firmware and they came along with MIUI 12; but, unfortunately, the company’s developers never get around to treating some of them. There are still plenty of bugs in the operating system of Redmi, Xiaomi and Poco devices. Perhaps updates with fixing problems are still ahead; but I would like the company to do it more quickly; and abandon the habit of releasing smartphones with problematic software

It is confusing too because

1. Normally Active time on mine is same as SOT.
2. There is no way your screen would using such power for that long except your screen is always on and exceptionally bright

Force Restart your phone sha. And clear Security App cache.

I think I figured it out, it was a bit confusing at first too when I got the N10P.
But I think active time is the time since the phone was unplugged from the power source. As you can see on mine here, active time was 10hrs 16mins, means that's how long my phone was disconnected from the power source, moving down to the screen, you can see it's 5hrs 1min SOT.
Correct me if I'm wrong though.

You are right, the new update on security app changed it back to how it was initially

I have been trying for more than 30 minutes now l am still unable to cast it with my device, and l did not experience this with my previous devices, maybe l am not doing it right but it's strange because casting to the TV should never be this difficult.

I am using Samsung 4k tv
consider getting an anycast device which goes 4 about 4k, I think it connects phones to TVs better without hassles...
