I got a Toyota Corolla 2005 Sport car of recent- May, 2021. it came with the "check light" on. I fixed some fuses that i discovered made the Dashboard light to trip off and also made the scanning tool not to power on initially. cleared the initial error code of Evap leak, and i discovered the check engine light went off. After driving for a whiled, I Scanned the car for error code and it displays DTC NOT FOUND. I have been driving the car for 2 days now without any check light. But out of curiosity i asked a mechanic to help me observe if the car has catalyst (Indomie), he said the car doesn't. [b]My question is, can a scanner not detect a car without catalyst [/b]so as to display DTC ?

It will! It will report a catalyst efficiency below threshold, after two drive cycles, except you have a spacer installed.

Now, to how your catalyst got missing! I leave that to someone else

Hello house , I noticed some kind of unpleasant smell intermittently when my ac is on and have accelerated to long distance on my Toyota(it just smells and stops)it smells like an a burning odor , it doesn't happen on short distance.
Took notice of it after toping my coolant with a Toyota coolant to the one the car came with.

Just search for the car you want. You could actually get for lower than your budget. But a good one, will probably be higher.

Also, ensure the vehicle is inspected before buying, so you wont end up with a lemon.

My question is, is it safe to amend it? Secondly, when and how can my power steering pump knock or breakdown? I am hearing a sound from the power steering pump, does it mean the pump is bad? Cause the steering is still soft

It's a Bedford truck or a man truck. It needs condemn engine oil or just high temperature grease.

Replace! do it early enough before it ruins your pump.

With the right parts you can rebuild the steering rack. The right parts are not readily available. Rebuild will be poorly done.

The leak in your powersteering rack is causing an introduction of air pockets in the system. The air in the system is causing the noise.

you have a catalyst in the exhaust manifold, but might not have one under the car .

Manifold is monitored , under the car is not.

I visited Ekiti with 04 Vibe. Had to change a coil and fuel pump due to misfiring and difficult starting car.
Look for a place to scan but only found one whose obd failed to detect car. I was advised to change fuel pump again and filter. After this car had shut off about 3 times on motion, though working very fine except this; had to leave it behind and travel till I can scan it. The check engine light is on and some mechanics suggest I change brain box(ECU) or fuel pump and filter again, also coldstart. Any suggestion, please?

Good day my Bosses in the House.

My Honda EOD just tripped off on Sunday last week while I was trying to park. Several attempts to restart it was futile. Called my Mechanic and he said it's faulty fuel pump.

Had the fuel pump changed.

Since then, the Car jerks while in motion with the Tachometer dropping and picking up. My Mechanic seems confused at this point and suggested I see an Electrician.

Any possible cause of this pls? And remedy too?
