Differences between Gañi Adams and Sunday Igboho.
As a very keen Observer:

One is a Politician still masquerading as a Yoruba freedom-fighter, untrustworthy 100%, Traitor who undermined his Boss and was used by the Govt of the day at that time, to undermine the interest of Yorubas, has been accused of being of Gambari-Origins though born in the South West and always playing catch-up, even to the gallery. He is yet to earn his Stars, even though he has sewn Five Stars Epaulet on his Shirt

The other is a razz, say-it-as-it-is, no-nonsense local fighter to the Core! He has proved his efficacy and earned his Stars on the field of Battle and has been decorated by Yorubas , both at home and in diaspora. HE has demonstrated beyond doubt, that it is not "all mouth" or going behind to collect Bribe and betray Yorubas. He is not very refined and does not even crave refinement but he gets the job done.

If l were to be a Yoruba, l will bet my horse on the Latter, the former is yet to earn such trust and his past antics even underline why some Yorubas are wary with following him. Let us hope he changes his way, if he is truly capable of changing his ways.

I did not mention anybody's name since l cant remember any name now. grin

Only mor.ons fail to see them as the business men they are. There is nothing special about them—just mortals who figured out ways to prey on the gullibility of superstitious Neanderthals and make a good living doing it.

My brother, are their lives any better than the many people who die everyday? Death is inevitable, no one can escape it when it's time. That they are pastors kids does not make them any better. The status on Earth is different but before death it's the same and so, before God who created us. There is nothing wrong. I have seen 3 people die in a family in less than 3 days. Only God knows the hour for everyone. Shalom

Hmmm I just don't feel comfortable hearing the story, something must be wrong! May their soul rest in peace (Amen)

Education is very important, Ganni was like Igbohos ( unrefined ) when he started but Ganii knew the importance of Education and had people who told him the truth to his face that he needs to educate himself. Ganii had private teachers that was teaching him at home as in private lessons .

When i see Ganii today i am so pleased with the efforts he carried to make himself refined and sharp . I always want to listen to his interviews because unlike in the past during the pre-obasanjo era.

undecided

This is my first comment about Adeboye's loosing his son..

It get why

You see for this Nigeria, we practice real sheer hypocrisy.. So state governors, senators, house of reps members , politicians and business moguls have all been sending condolence messages to Adeboye for loosing his son, which is not something bad

But, are we saying those people who have been sending those condolence messages are not aware about thousands of Nigerians dying on daily basis due to ineptitude of the government from Fg to state?

Who should console families who lost their relatives to Boko haram, bandits, kidnappers?

We have all been blaming the Politicians for all our woes and I keep on wondering if those politicians were sent from Pluto that they are not familiar with Nigeria problems or we should rather question the Nigeria community that has been repeating failure upon failure to lead us.

Rip to Adeboye's son ooo but pls let stop this hypocrisy of a thing...
na why I talk sey you dey always make sense once once. Unlike the vulture grilling degenerate

As long as God lives!!

We Rise![/quote]Moronic slowpoke! Pastor Adeboye protested against Jonathan during his era and that alone increased hatred for the then president. One way or the other, Pastor Adeboye has a hand in puting every Nigerian in the current situation we are in and since all this started he has not dimmed it fit to condemn this government or to tender an apology to Nigerians. His son died peacefully, a death that we can say is from God, but what if people that Bandits, Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen have killed or displaced or rendered useless for their family? Nobody is concerned about that. Saying Sunday will meet whatever for front is just a mere speculation how are you sure this is not God at work? Either warning our clergymen or taking away the righteous to not witness evils that is coming?. Baba has sinned against God and humanity for giving us hope in a man that ended up being the worst of all time, I think he needs to beg for forgiveness from both God and man. RIP to Pastor Dare and all innocent people that have been killed unjustly.

I think this issue is getting overflogged, people die everyday why should Adeboye and Abina own be different because they are pastors grin grin, because they use to say if you want to see next year shout alleluia grin grin

Nobody is more special than the other, or you expect their religion to give them special consideration and make them immune to dieing at a specific age?
Your comment at the emboldened is only true in an Utopian/Ideal world. In the real world, people with power/influence demonstrate that they are more special than others. George Orwells Animal Farm describes it best when he said all animals are equal but some are more equal than others.

Why do you think lots of popular people congratulated Davido on the birth of his son Ifeanyi, but didn't they see the thousands of other new babies born in Nigeria at that same time to congratulate?

Why do the high and mighty celebrate the birthday of their clique members on the pages of newspapers and ignore those of the regular people that they know about?

Why would it be different when it's about death? Note this is evident all over the world. Even World leaders call one another to either celebrate or sympathise depending on the situation. Do they call the common people like that? You should not overlook the impact of network and class system in the way things are done in the real world.

very true what you typed there

but my own bone of contention is how a deacon in this same GOFAMINT church is trying to religion-shame me all because I stopped going to church, claiming that God will no longer feel obliged to protect my life, provide for me and protect me, I try to explain to him to any religion won't give me a competitive advantage unfortunately that only angered him the more and he claimed devil can snatch me grin at any point, if I don't return to the church if t's I or my kid that has died like this, this same deacon will have claimed that I gave room to the devil

Lol I get, but you need to understand that a lot of religious people often act based on their own personal convictions and give little room to understand other's point of view. Goodluck with this your personal matter with your deacon.

Franking:
Ur God does not live. Otherwise I dare him to do his worst. Nonsense.
Franking, don't expect to fall down and die or that any evil will befall you, no, you won't experience such! Why? Because on the cross of Calvary Jesus said, "Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing" (Luk 23:34). How would he do his 'worst' when he chose to die for your sins? Jesus doesn't have 'worst' but love. He loves sinners so much that he gave himself. The Bible says while we were still sinners, he died for us (Rom 5: 8 ).

We will keep praying for you, trusting God that one day you will come and share in this great and indescribable love of God.
