If your MI Account is active, Bootloader cant be unlocked. the Phone cant be downgraded and Cant be flashed through fastboot due to the Bootloader, 1. If the theif is flashing through EDL, he would need an MI Authorised Account, which is very expensive to get. 2. If he wants to bypass the MI Cloud, he has to live the VPN for the rest of the Lifes Phone, VPN would keep shutting down from time to time. he wont enjoy it. but its still tackable if you can log in to ur MI Account.

At the first bolded, $30 is not expensive.

At the second bolded, it's a complete hogwash, meaning that assertion is very wrong.

I just left the police station. I had paid for tracking several months ago when the phone got stolen.

The first thing the Alhaja in charge of phone tracking at the station said was ",Dem don change the phone IMEI o. We no fit track am again". Apparently, it's not difficult unlocking the bootloader and changing the IMEI of the Mi 9T.

The Alhaja no know anything. That's another way of telling you that they can't track it.

How do one about the 1 second lag when using the wireless display option (screen mirroring) , cos not all apps have the cast option... Please help

Good afternoon, so I got a new update for MN10 MIUI 12.1.4. Seriously don't know if I should update now, cuz MIUI updates sometimes de solve one thing and bring in another LOL

Yes, with Mi Authenticated account which costs as much as $30, it's very easy.

Anyway, my RN9S battery seem to be running down quickly. I have observed this for the past few weeks. I don't know if it's the recent update or it's airtel.
