Please house I'm a first time Xiaomi user, the redmi note 10 pro I got I noticed that the ear phone volume is not balance, the left side of it is low even at high volume but the right side is very high, you won't notice the left side sound when you have both ear phones in ear, I tried another ear phone still same issue but when I use same ear phone on another phone both the left and the right side have balance volume, please house what could be the issue, please help, thank you. The mini version is the global stable version of 12.0.10 |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 7:49pm On May 11, 2021 |
gr8gem: You might not be using the proper earphone with the right pin. Has nothing to do with the ROM. Meanwhile update your phone Global ROM is already on Version 12.0.15 |
What kind of ear phone can I use, the new one I got is from oraimo |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 8:11pm On May 11, 2021 |

Oraimo should work. But a-times they might not be compatible. Also hope the case wasn't interfering with it being properly plugged in? |

gr8gem:I think that ear phone is not compatible with that device, anyway update ur device first. Then look for normal ear phone that is not with mic/switch l on it (old time mp3 ear phone) to confirm. |

My Mi 9T even with fast charge gives me only 40% in 1hour!
I don't use d phone when charging and use the follow come charger.
Pls what is the problem because 40% charge in 1 HR in this age is damn slow!! |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 9:27pm On May 11, 2021 |
Gptech: Thank you. If you drink finish, consult your wallet o. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 9:27pm On May 11, 2021 |
seborrhic: Check your cable. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by seborrhic: 9:30pm On May 11, 2021 |
genius43:Both cable and charger are the original ones the phone came with. When it's plugged the screen shows fast charging but 40% is definitely no where near fast by today's standards. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 9:32pm On May 11, 2021 |
seborrhic: 18W should charge your phone fully by at around 1hr 30mins. So how do you compare 18W with 30W and above. Remember this phone was released in 2019. |

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 9:47pm On May 11, 2021 |
seborrhic:Download ampere and check the charging speed, your cable is the culprit. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by seborrhic: 9:55pm On May 11, 2021 |
genius43:Don't know d phone u talking about but Redmi 9T was released in 2021 March |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 9:58pm On May 11, 2021 |
seborrhic: You said Mi 9T in your first post not Redmi 9T. Know the difference between Mi and Redmi. Redmi 9T was Released January 2021. Don't expect flagship charging speeds on a budget device. 18W is fast enough for it.

Gptech:This is what I got after downloading Ampere. Is there any problem with the charging from this?

Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 10:00pm On May 11, 2021 |
seborrhic: Nope you are using your phone while Charging. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by seborrhic: 10:02pm On May 11, 2021 |
genius43:So what do I do or what is the solution? |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 10:03pm On May 11, 2021 |
seborrhic: Nothing. Your Charging is normal with your phone. If you like buy a 120W charger it won't charge faster than this. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by seborrhic: 10:06pm On May 11, 2021 |
genius43:Thanks for the prompt responses. So there is no problem with the charging? I felt in this age 40%-45% /1hr is slow for a fast charge? |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Meister(m): 10:16pm On May 11, 2021 |
seborrhic: That's very reasonable for an 18w charger boss, your phone supports up to 27w fast charging so if that 18w isn't fast enough for you buy a 28 or 30w charger from jboixxx |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Shegun010: 10:18pm On May 11, 2021 |
gr8gem: Since you said you tried the earphones on another phone and it worked well I think you should try checking your settings. Go to settings→additional settings→accessibility→hearing→if mono audio is enabled then make sure the left and right is balanced as shown in the screenshot below. I hope it fixes it. Plus you should update your phone, I'm on 12.0.15. Cheers. 2 Likes
