US has military bases in both South korea & Japan. It also has its missile defence systems in the there. It AEGIS destroyers are in the south china sea. The essence of all the weapon is to counter Nuclear missile treat from North Korea or China.

The idea that Israel is a nuclear state is yet to be confirmed. Nuclear weapon is not something you build in secrecy. You need to test the H-Bomb which cant be done without alerting the world. Same with missile (H-Bomb carrier). Israelis never admitted to have nuclear weapon. The major aim of having a nuclear weapon is for deterrence. No country will want to mess with you if you are a nuclear state. Why have they not mentioned it?
