Nigerian afrobeat singer, David ”Davido” Adeleke has reacted to the video of actor, Yomi Fabiyi protesting the continued detention of Baba Ijesha, Newspremises reports.

Fabiyi hit the streets on Wednesday, and demanded the release of his colleague Baba Ijesha on grounds of human rights.

Baba Ijesha, real name, Olanrewaju James is currently in detention after he was arrested for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old girl, an action that has been condemned by some Nigerians.

However, Fabiyi has been consistent in defending Baba Ijesha and he staged his much-anticipated protest earlier this morning to demand his release.

Reacting to the protest, Davido slammed the actor and described him as a mumu.

The Fabiyi in one of the video stated that what baba ijesha did was very wrong and he should face the consequences of his actions.

But he is holding the Police to that fact that they said the offence was bailable, which I think is a logical and right demand.

This Yomi guy has failed to realize that the powers that be have place their feet on his bail. Either the Governor, the vice presidents wife or the Governors wife has influenced the decision of the commissioner of police to keep him in detention. Yes, it is a bailable offence and it is injustice to have kept him this long. Two wrongs don’t make a right. But baba ijesha, why did you choose not to have sense in the midst of all the sense God has blessed us with in this world? You get what you choose. You chose to go for indecent assault and defiling of a minor. Now, carry your cross as the world have already passed their judgment before the courts. You are now a victim of JUNGLE JUSTICE.
