Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has said she would be feeding 2,000 Muslim children in the spirit of the Eid-el-Fitr festival, Igbere TV reports.

The mother of one revealed the plan in an Instagram post on Thursday posing with Muslim children.

“I will Personally be feeding 2,000 Muslim children between today and Tommmorrow in Active Celebration of EID MUBARAK,” wrote Tonto.

The controversial personality recently demanded punishment for her colleague Baba Ijesha who is accused of sexually assaulting a minor.

Nice gesture. More blessings on your way Tonto. Some will still hate her for this. Some bitter souls like the one below. She didn’t say she fed 2000 children already. She said she’ll feed 2000 children and these haters of good things are counting already. Even if she feeds more than 2000, your hatred will not allow you appreciate it. Some are even saying she’s not capable. Now I see why we are backwards, don’t you think in your little mind that 2million will do this? Is Tonto Dikeh not more than that? Some are saying it’s for the show; damn Nigerian. Why not go arrest your politicians that did nothing either for show or for real. This lady needs to be appreciated and not criticized. Some well to do Alhajis and Hajias can’t even share meat with their neighbors not to talk of feeding them. And here’s a Christian doing that. All she’s getting here is criticism. Some people without a functioning brain are saying she should go to Borno, she should go to IDP camp like they were the ones that donated to her. Nigerian and entitlement mentality. It’s her money, it’s her decision, it’s her devotion and the choice of where is hers. Let me remind you. She didn’t assemble the people at IDP camp and so she owe them nothing. She own nobody nothing in fact. She has Muslim kids in her estates, in her kid’s school, even down her street: there’ll be Muslim kids there. So why the sudden need for borno and IDP camp. Is she a northerner?

Will she travel up north where she can actually have abundance of Almajiri Muslim children, or will there be a door-to-door distribution of supplies till the number is covered?

Because if these pictures of about five children are what she plans to feed, I might have to return to primary school to gain elementary knowledge of numbers.

This is one of the reasons y we have more almajiris in Nigeria

This people no dey do charity with Northern children but buzzy body Southerners who just see chewing gum money will want to go and do show with potential Boko Haram recruites
