Isn't this strange? We were told yesterday that President Buhari was in a " closed door " meeting with Mahamat Idriss Deby, son of the late Chadian leader Idriss Deby Itno, who has since succeeded his father. I have two concerns with the pictures released:

* Why wasn't the details of the meeting disclosed? The body language of the characters in pic-2 doesn't seem like one where trivial matters were being deliberated upon. Something that requires they sign a document isn't supposed to be taken lightly. A document was being signed by the Chadian military chief, aren't we at least supposed to know what agreement our president was entering with the acting Chadian head of state? These are genuine concerns that shouldn't be ignored, lest we have another "Obasanjo-Bakassi Peninsula" incident or even worse.

* There's something about that pic-2 that I find utterly disrespectful. I can't really place a finger on it. Is it that Mahamat Deby was seated in front of our Coat Of Arms? Is it that our President stood right beside him like an orderly? I don't know if it's just me, but there's something eerily scary about pic-2.

I'm open to corrections if I'm wrong and I'll appreciate inputs from fellow Nigerians.

Funny enough, the same thing happened when Buhari visited the White House. He signed the guest book and some people said that he signed a deal that he didn't understand.

Anyway, this is the new President of Niger signing the guest book.

See the humility of Buhari in pic 2.

But nonetheless what’s this utterly private romance with Islamic states ?

Some youth need to learn governance either by standing up and enter politics or by reading. No wonder why they call us lazy. Ho can we re Nigeria with zero knowledge of governance, do we need to learn when we're given the power?
It's obvious that the OP is in deep ignorance of how the system works or was feed with grave doubts & usual ethno-religious propaganda in a beer parlour talk!

Nothing extraordinary about the pics. Check any pictures of 2 Head Of States as in try and look for as many pictures available of the event.
When Buhari visited Trump; it was similar .
Buhari was sitting down signing something and Trump stood by his stand.
