Even by conquest, Israel defeated the Arabs so what are we saying? The Palestinians had the best deal during the Clinton administration but refused to take it cos they wanted all or nothing. Now they get nothing. Arafat bunked it. omonnakoda: |

The Bible was modified to stop terrorism, why has the Koran not been modified instead they fight people who call for the modification of the Koran. The reason is because it's easier to modify the Bible because Christ modified it when he said people should not follow the law of Moses which preaches an eye for an eye but turn the other cheek. But alas same cannot be said of Mohd who used jihad helinues: |

I don't need to be in your mind to know...read your comments and see your position about people believing the Bible to claim the land was given to them by God. That's for religious people but United Nations will work with historical facts to draw borders. You're being defensive to say I shouldn't quote you, shows you met a superior argument. omonnakoda: |

DMerciful:First you said I think the UN blah blah blah Now you say my "position about people" Already you are contradicting yourself is it people or the UN? Next you talk about superior argument to one that I have never made . Is it by force? Honestly you are just being an irritant At no time did I express any position on the UN So you are either being mischievous or deliberately dissembling either way all I ask is that you just go away and leave me in peace and do not put words in my mouth |

You have been quoting people to attack the Bible knowing fully well that, that's not how Israel got those lands in 1948. You looked for an avenue to insult the Bible but ofcource you knew the Bible had nothing to do with the Israel Palestinian conflict. Who's mischievous? You met a superior reasoning and started throwing unnecessary defence and asking lame question without addressing my point on the UN creating present day Israel without biblical inputs. Go sidon for corner jor omonnakoda: |

pstemma1990:No wonder the God of the Fulanis chose to gave your lands to herdsmen. When Fulani Herdsmen come to take what God has given to them you resist. When they take it by force, you start complaining. |

helinues:In late 1917 British forces conquered Palestine from Ottoman-Tutk, ending 1,400 years of Islamic rule over the region. By that time Jews only accounted for 6 percent of the total population. Incessant wars and persecution over centuries had driven out most of the Jewish population from their homeland. The area labelled as Palestine and extending into Lebanon were initially known as land of Canaan which was the name used in Biblical times. Canaan covered Land of Israel (Judea, Samaria, etc), Phoenicia and Philistia (Land of the Philistines). The Palestinians are descendants of the Philistines. The Philistines were part of the Sea People who invaded ancient Egypt and were relocated to the southern abandoned coast of Canaan by Pharaoh Ramesses III after his victory over them around 1200BC. Below is a map of the region from around 1200BC to 1050BC where the 12 tribes of Israel occupied majority of the area with Philistia just beside the Mediterranean Sea to the southwest. For Palestinian apologists to be claiming they owned the region because most Jews were exiled by wars and 1,400 years of Islamic rule that allowed the Palestinians to expand unfettered is erroneous history. The term Palestine in ancient lierature did not even exist until around 500BC. The whites in South African can also draw maps of what used to be their land during the Apartheid era and then tell us how Zulus and other indigenous tribes encroached. The Temple Mount, which is the holiest site of Judaism had the First Temple built there by King Solomon in 957BCE more than 1,500 years before the Muslim Caliph Umar came to build the Al-Aqsa mosque around the same area after muslim invasion of the Levant, turning it into the third holiest site of Islam.
